Very very well located in the old city, quite close to the train/bus stations, but also a quick walk to the main squares and the Papal Palace. Staff was friendly, buffet breakfast was sufficient, and was an unexpectedly large and comfortable room. Would stay here again for sure.

For those with much luggage the entrance has a lot of steep stairs to navigate with no assistance available

Quaint hotel near station
A quaint hotel within an easy walk from the station. It is a short walk from the main square where you find lots of cafes. The distance to the sights weren’t too far away. Only criticism was the toilet seat broke, no fridge, no tissues and couldn’t eat breakfast in the courtyard because of the smokers.

This hotel is a good location - between train station and town centre. Has a lovely courtyard entrance. My budget room was small but was fine for a one night stay. My only negative experience was I did advise hotel I would be arriving early (6:30/7am) to leave my bag before going on a day tour but when I arrived, no one was at reception….I wandered around, went to the bathroom to get changed and eventually someone appeared. Also breakfast was very expensive for a small selection of food items. I would eat at a cafe if I did this trip again.

Every thing was great except the bathroom whose floor was installed such that shower water was spilled over the whole bathroom floor. There was unpleasant sewer odor in the bathroom.

The property was quite dated but I can appreciate the hotel attempted to renovate. Central location was ideal. Rooftop bar available.

Avignon pre-cruise stay
The hotel is charming, and perfectly located in the heart of the bustling city. Rooms are unique and comfortable and have all the amenities I need. Staff is very friendly and the little courtyard and rooftop bar are lovely features!

Cannot swing a cat
The room we had on thecfirst night was so small we could not fit our small suitcase in there was no wardrobe and the toiletcwas tiny. The air conditioning was noisey. I could not sleep and tripped over my suitcase .We asked to change rooms and the hotel up graded us with a all fee to a lovely big room.

A charming hotel and an excellent value
I was very surprised and impressed by this hotel. The location was ideal - an easy walk to tourist sites, shopping, and excellent restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms, although small, were clean and very comfortable. It looks like everything in this hotel was fairly recently. I had not expected such good value for the extremely reasonable prices.

good location, close by to everything. breakfast is bad, it's pretty much coffee and croissants. internet is really bad, it disconnects all the time and you can't even stream anything. asked for the help, but they couldn't do anything, it was also showing a message in the browser that you're not protected when you use internet.

Certainly is Central
Very good hotel for a stay in the centre of Avignon. 5 minutes walk from the station and easy walking to the various things to see and do. Staff were friendly and helpful. Was very quiet and peaceful given it is on the main thoroughfare.

Avignon a ‘must’ to visit.
It was an overnight stop in Avignon this time. This quaint hotel has never disappointed us. Friendly staff. Comfortable room and great ambience. Breakfast is available and the choice of items to please every palette. Wonderful location. Walking distance from the rail station to historical sights. Great restaurants abound.

Great place in the city center
I enjoyed my stay here. The service was good, they have a nice bar, the room was clean with good standard and it had the same price as a two star hotel so it was very cheap. I have really nothing to complain about.

Pretty hotel in a great location.
Great location for central Avignon. Really pleasant surroundings and friendly helpful staff. Room was quite small but as we were only staying 1 night it wasn't a problem-not ideal if staying longer.

Great location
I’d give it a 5 for the friendliness and help from the staff. However housekeeping was poor. Stingy with the toiletries and coffee - when we got there there was the coffee pot but no coffee and 2 dirty spoons. Next day we got one pack of coffee for 2 people and no additional soap. Next day no more coffee or soap. Breakfast was better than most with a good variety of foods. Location was absolutely perfect but bathroom could have been cleaner (window sills, baseboards, floors, chrome has water/soap spots). Nice courtyard area to relax.

There is also a hospitality tray in each room, with a kettle and free tea. However, the coffee can be ordered 24 hours a day at the reception. Regards, Mathilde

I loved the location of this small boutique hotel. The room was simple and it works for one person. The staff is very nice and helpful too! The only downside is that there is no elevator so had to carry all the luggage by hand up a few flights of stairs. Other than that the breakfast is very good and tasty! Thank you for letting my stay here!
