Drunk guest, Yoli East side of property in the middle of the night and break into my door trying to get a fight I called 911 to remove a suicidal lady which been disturbing all night and can’t sleep until 4 AM in the morning

My October 26-27, 2023 Review
Very relaxing. Host was very accommodating with me, as I informed in advance that I wouldn't be able to arrive until just before midnight. Located on a busy road during most of the daytime, but great location for shopping, restaurants, etc. Beautiful home and room.

It's a nice clean quiet place. For temporary 3 days living, it's quite convenient for me. Eating in that area is very convenient, lots of options are available, and also quite easy to get on high way though the house is hidden in a quiet area.

As a newcomer to Canada this is the perfect place for stay. All other hotels are 2-3 times more expensive. Here you get own room and a shared kitchen with a big fridge where you can make yourself a sandwich or a salad. The shared bathrooms are very clean. Parking is available on spot or in the worst case on the street nearby. The hotel is close to the public transport. I stayed 11 days and I recommend it to everyone.

This house is located on a busy street but area is so beautiful. Huge park in walking distance. Couple of things i noticed and wasn't pleasing for me were. Bedroom felt little damp and i was told that filling up a tub to bath is not allowed, Only shower is allowed. other than that, owner were polite, i felt safe in the area and in the house. Parking wasnt a problem at all.

Would have been nice if the snow was cleared from the back walkway area. Had a couple of days of ankle deep snow to go up stairs in. Also, provided a kitchen common area but I was told not to cook anything. What's the point then of providing it?

Cheap but comes at a cost
It is a cheap place to stay but the owner/manager is a crazy person. He started knocking and shouting on my door when I was in the room alone talking to someone on the phone in daytime and said that I had broken agreement of my stay that someone else was staying with me in the room. I had to let this guy check the room to show that nobody was there to back off. I would prefer to stay away from this place if you are looking for a comfortable stay.

The neighborhood was quite quiet and peaceful, plenty of shopping and access to the Skytrain not too far away however there's a somewhat significant hill to climb up (at least in one direction direction) be warned if you have heavy bags you may feel a little like Sisyphus (Greek mythology)
