The room was so dirty. Stunk so bad of terrible air freshener. So awful that we could not breath. They would not change our room. Cobwebs on the ceiling.

Shower enclosure has broken floor tiles and very dirty floor; Underside of toilet seat had dried feces particles stuck to it; Counter staff charged extra thirty dollars as booked pet room was unavailable ??; We are disputing all charges for our stay at this facility !!!

Building is very run down. Piles of junk and garbage in corners. Room was clean, but the lights flickered constantly, comforter felt more like a thick sheet. Bed was uncomfortable.

Not bad overall.
Hotel was clean band very close to shopping, restaurants and tourist locations. A bit noisy from construction at some building nearby as well as very thin walls, so if someone is walking by and talking it's very loud in the room. Bathtub drainage was really bad and after a min in my shower the water started collecting and wouldn't drain (room #117) and ended up being such a dirty mess. We found one spider on the bed the second day of our stay. See attached picture.

Beware before you book.
The place was run down. The floors in our room had built up dirt. We had to clean our feet beside before getting into bed. Staff were not helpful saying “well there is nothing I can do”. Even though COVID restrictions were lifted they claim they don’t come into rooms during shorter stays. It is or very much like a government funded place for the down and out. We left after one night as we could not stand the filth. This place gives Travel Lodge a bad name. Do yourself a favour and stay away. Rooms are nothing like the pictures and descriptions online.

I expected a Travel Lodge to be basic, neat, tidy, clean and well maintained but it doesn't have to be fancy. This facility is none of those things and on top of that, powerful smelling insect repellants were discovered under the beds, and people milling around outside at ~3am. Awful place, I shall avoid in the future, even if it's late night and I'm in a pinch.

I’ve stayed at this hotel in the past and never encountered such a disappointing room. The only good thing about my stay was the low cost.The Room smelled of air freshener fragrance to the point it was nauseating and it never went away when I tried to air it out with the outside door opened. The Heater was super loud and didn’t shut off once it reached the set temperature so I had to choose between waking up to being cold or listening to it rumbling all night. To top off my disappointment , the Bed was uncomfortably hard felt like I was sleeping on plywood with a thin blanket.

The bed was comfy, it smelt and looked clean. But there were people who looked like they lived there and they were loud and noisy and tried to bum food and cigarettes off my boyfriend and kept us up until around 2am. Ask for money for drugs.

Good points: The location is fantastic, right in Vancouver, a short walk away from a lot of cool places. This is a great place to sit down! The internet was very fast, and the shower hit like a firehose. I got an upgrade when I signed in as well! Although there was construction right next to me, the room is well insulated, so I didn't hear a thing. There are power outlets everywhere. Useful when there's so many things to charge. Room for improvement: Right where I parked, there was a lot of ice. I nearly slipped getting out of my car. The attendant said because of covid, a maid can't come into my room and refresh my coffee supply and toiletries. This seems less like a safety precaution, and more like Wyndham cheaping out, as I had no morning coffee the second morning. I went to the lobby, where I had previously spotted a coffee maker, but it turns out they weren't brewing coffee. That's both cheap and lazy, it doesn't take much time or money to brew a cup. I had two calls to my room, presumably from the front desk, and as soon as I answered they hung up. Probably a telephone line issue. The red "message waiting" light kept flashing, but there was no message. Why is there telephones in the rooms anyway? It's 2022.
