horrible rooms. no fridge in double bed room

Posted 16-May-2017
horrible and dirty rooms. I have pictures and will never recommend or stay there again. The positive point to this was that I got fully refunded and the staff was amazing. So Thank you to the hotel staff for their compassion and understanding and no stress refund.

Wonderful stay

Posted 13-May-2017
The location was great--close to public transportation, the views out the window were really nice though the windows were filthy. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very willing and helpful. The restaurant's food was very good and the wait staff very helpful and kind.

Good location

Nice, clean hotel. Furnishings a bit dated, but well-kept. Good central location, lots of good restaurants nearby, and lots of activities in walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Decent budget offering in a convenient location

Posted 8-May-2017
Pros: Close to dining and attractions, reasonable price.
Cons: Maintenance issues and noise abatement.
Location: Plenty of options for dining, very walkable area, great shopping a few blocks away. Queen Elizabeth Theatre, BC Place & Rogers Arena all close by.
Needed a one-night stay near Pacific Centre for not too much $$ and this fit the bill all right. Best thing is the location followed closely by the staff. Check-in was friendly and quick. The room itself was serviceable although it could use some maintenance help for a running toilet and a ceiling leak from the bathroom on the floor above. I recommend ear plugs for a good night sleep as the noise from the roosting pigeons and someone practicing opera singing nearby were too much for the single-glazed windows. Enjoyed a drink at Moxie's off the lobby which was quite nice. Not awful and a reasonable value for the location - just keep your expectations in check.

OK place, but a bit out of the way.

Posted 1-May-2017
Pros: It was OK. Had a night club and sports bar.
Cons: Recieved a $100 parking ticket even though I paid to park, and the air temprature control in room was very hot especially at night.
Location: Rogers Park arena..that's it...Its a little off the beaten path from Granville, Davie, and the heart of Roberson streets.
It was OK. I didn't appreciate recieving a parking ticket after paying for parking over $55 for 2 nights. The room was very hot for my taste, especially at night. I had to get a fan on the second night.

Disappointed at their room cleaning service

Posted 1-May-2017
Cons: Room cleaning and communication between staff
I stayed there for 2 nights. It was quite disappointing that they disregard that I had the "do not disturb" tag at the door on the first night. They took that off from my door, and came in to my room, and cleaned my room. BUT still not fully cleaned. I felt so violated my privacy, and was uncomfortable for the rest of my stay. I called the number of their room cleaner, and left the message about my frustration and dissatisfaction. They never called back, left a message, nothing. When I checked out, the reception did not mention anything, so I assume that they didn't communicate about this with the reception as well. Secondly and lastly, their toilet seems to release the water from the tank slowly. Then once in a while, it fills the water out of blue, which is loud. I jumped each time because of how loud the noise was.
