Great location!!

I rated this an average hotel. Great location, close to Rogers place..great walking distance for everything. However, room was very small. It was dated, and could use an upgrade. Staff was great though!!!

reasonable value

Posted 30-Nov-2016
Pros: Proximity to where I needed to be. Easy access to skytrain. Reasonably good value for money.
Cons: No room service option, especially for breakfast.
Location: Right downtown .... lots of things to do nearby.
1 night stayover for business trip, Sandman was closest hotel (meeting some professional standards) to my meeting site (Arts Club BMO Theatre).

Location is great, staff was friendly other than we had a staff member walk into our room at 10:00 am which woke us up. We had a great room and view, but there needs to be updates to some items in the room. Rooms could be a little cleaner, overall we had a great stay and would come back again.

Good location in rainy Vancouver

Sandman was a great value for a few nights in downtown Vancouver, a bit away from the heart but still a very short walk to all things good in the City. Staff was excellent and helpful. Would definitely book again.

Hidden Gem With the Basics

The hotel is in a great location. I was able to walk everywhere. I rented a bicycle from the Bike Dr.and it cost me $100 for the week. This was the best way to get around the city which has lots of bike lanes. Hotel guests have access to a gym on the 3rd floor. The gym is well equipped with sufficient equipment to allow you maintain while away. Pool and hot tub open till 10.

Great location.

Posted 21-Nov-2016
Pros: Close to everything we needed.
Cons: Wi fi didn't work in our room. Would last 2 seconds and then off. Couldn't use it. Elevators need upgrading. Wait times are horrendous.
Location: Very close to Rogers arena. We were there for the hockey game.
Location was great. Staff were nice. Room was older but clean. Wifi didn't work in our room though which was frustrating. Also the elevators are so painfully inadequate, you will want to take the stairs so I suggest not booking above the 5 th floor.

Close to Rogers Arena and BC place

Our room was pretty small, not much for a view, We were there for a Canucks game, and it served the purpose well.

Pros: Comfy beds
Cons: Bathroom quality and cleanliness
Good location, very close to Rogers arena, BC place and lots of places to eat. Could hear people on the street and in the hallway quite well. Elevators took quite a long time to wait for. Very comfortable beds! Hotel staff was accommodating and very nice. Ice machine closed at 10pm which I thought was a bit silly.
