Exquisite Luxury & Breathtaking Harbor Views

Posted 2-May-2016
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Visit the Planetarium, Art Gallery, Gas Town, Granville Island & Robson Street shopping, Grouse Mountain for hiking and dinner.
My husband and I stayed at the hotel for one night after I presented at a 2-day conference at the World Trade and Convention Centre. We had dinner and breakfast brought to the room because our view was so incredible. The highly professional hotel staff brought our table with delicious food, white linens and elegant dishes to the window and we gazed out at the harbor while we enjoyed the 5 star meals. We have travelled on cruise ships, to Europe, England, the US and Latin countries, and this experience surpassed the best experiences we have ever had. The bonus was watching the cruise ship dock in the morning.

Wonderful room service and very good food.Although it was cloudy and raining during our stay the view was great and very relaxing....Would have loved to have used the salt water pool.

Pros: good hotel with the best location
Cons: to provide fair rates for parking and breakfast for the guests
Location: the location is great
the parking cost is crazy (the rate per day is more then rent the car) ,the cost of the resturants are very expensive (better to eat outside)

Night In The City

Posted 18-Apr-2016
Cons: Think the $42 parking fee is a $$ grab. We could have parked at the Canada line station for $3 for 24 hours and the stop for the P is right nearby.
Location: Shopping, historic Gastown
Live in the burbs and came into the city to have a night out and to use our Absolute Spa gift cards. We were offered a $40 upgrade for a better view which we did not take our view was just fine. Room was spacious, very comfy bed and nice linens. On our way to the Spa I stopped at the concierge desk to ask a couple of questions, the lady was on the phone ( personal call I think ) and I waited and waited and finally went to the front desk right nearby and talked to someone right away. Mentioned we would like wine glasses in our room and when we returned from the spa they were there. Walked to the Cactus Club to have a little dinner but it was jam packed and super busy so returned to the lounge at the PP ( has been one of our favourite places to bring out of towners to but it is under renos so just a few tables sure hope they keep the nice open ambiance ) We shared some plates and had a nice time listening to the singer/guitar player, very talented. In the morning asked the front desk for a recommendation for brunch and she went out of her way to print directions to a couple of places. Had a nice walk through Gastown, fun to play tourist in your home city.

Luxurious.

Posted 16-Apr-2016
Pros: The kind hosts, the huge room size, the soft sheets and how clean everything was, the views, the warm swimming pool and its location, the gym.
Cons: Communication on the web-site about where to check in since the hotel is in the Convention center. That was confusing.
Location: It is a prime location on the waterfront in the convention center. Vancouver art Museum, Museum of Antheoplogy, Stanley Park, Granville Island nearby.
Extremely kind, gracious hosts greeted us and made sure our stay was comfortable. The room was gigantic-living roomed sized with 2 beds, a sofa, and 4 chairs and still extra room for a roll-a-way bed--and great views of the bay and downtown Vancouver. Very tasteful furniture and decor. Super comfortable, big beds and soft sheets. And the free roll-away bed was a real bed with box-springs and ultra comfortable mattress as was the sofa bed. Bathroom was also huge and luxurious with huge shower head. And really,, really clean rooms and hotel. State of the art gym with all the bells and whistles and the swimming pool water is actually warm--the warmest of all the hotels I've been in. And the pool is outside with these incredible views of the bay and downtown Vancouver surrounded by pots of gorgeous flowers. We will definitely stay here again!

Pan Pacific - Comfortable & convenient location

Posted 14-Apr-2016
Pros: Lots of available floor space in the room. No cramped feeling.
Cons: The WiFi was sketchy and I had to make several attempts each day to connect.
Good stay for business. Appreciated the hotel's proximity to the sea wall for the scant bit of free time for fresh air before and after the working day. Very pleasant staff all around from the front doors to the various workers encountered in the hallways.
