Our host was always very timely in his communications and responsive to our requests. The apartment has some wear and tear that our host says will be addressed. The building lobby also shows wear and tear. While the VRBO listing describes the building as being in the “heart of downtown”, it is on the edge of downtown and a block away from Chinatown. In this part of the city, we saw homeless people and drug users. There is a shopping mall across the building, and we were warned not to use the restrooms because of potential drug users. The building is a short walk to the Chinatown T station, which is convenient for accessing various parts of the city. ##### Maria T.
