Beautiful small hotelPosted 23-Mar-2018
Pros: All staff were friendly and accommodating
Cons: The decor in the penthouse needs to be updated and moderized.
Location: The hotel is located at the quiter end of Granville Island. The market and most of shops and restaurants are a 5 minute walk away.
The hotel is beautiful and the staff are great. We booked a regular room but ended up staying in the one bedroom penthouse suite. Lots of space and so comfortable. We enjoyed it so much we booked the penthouse for our return visit in August.

Great location, with lots to see and do nearby. Good Springtime offer to ease the burden on the wallet.

Good locationPosted 21-Mar-2018
If you want to explore Granville Island this is a great location. Room was not cleaned very well and parking was an issue. (Difficult to find a spot). Rooms were very noisy from outside noise and hallway and other rooms. Too much money considering the noise and cleanliness of the place.

Refreshingly DifferentPosted 19-Mar-2018
Have always, on stays in Vancouver, enjoyed Granville Island and its boutiques and Public Market. Due to delays by Via Rail's The Canadian, in leaving Toronto, I lost my booking in my original hotel [which was adequate looking but not not exciting]. When approaching Expedia for the third time I had lost the original but they were able to book me into The Granville Island Hotel. A delightful surprise situated overlooking False Creek and the Vancouver skyline, it was a well kept, comfortable, convenient place with excellent dining accommodation in the form of The Dockside Restaurant. Just a five minute stroll to the Public Market and other attractions. Would definitely recommend this hostelry to anyone looking for more than just a hotel room. Will be staying there on my next rail round trip to Vancouver and back.

Lovely boutique hotelPosted 15-Mar-2018
Enjoyed our stay at this hotel and loved the food and serving staff at breakfast time in particular. The dinner food was pretty bland which was disappointing. However, the view pretty much made up for any shortcomings!
