City sleepover at a beautiful setting.

Loved the hotel which was quiet and located on the water. Wonderful restaurant and excellent staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Stroll through Granville Island Market and enjoy the Sandbar upscale restaurant. Would recommend this hotel absolutely.

Pros: Close to facilities on Granville Island.
Cons: Lock on window broken, room much too warm and not possible to regulate by heating/cooling system.
The hotel was close to an arts course I took over the weekend. Amenities in rooms were good, but some features in rooms needed updating. For example, the lock on the window was broken, there were no convenient plugs for devices without unplugging bedside clock, the heating/cooling system was not functioning adequately. Rooms were clean and quiet, and location was very convenient to explore Granville Island.

Great Location!

We had a quick trip in Vancouver so we only spent one night in the Granville Island Hotel, but we really enjoyed our visit. The hotel is right on Granville Island, so we spent the afternoon exploring the shops and restaurants on the island. The hotel is a very nice place to stay. Nice room and the staff was very nice. Definitely recommend.

Great location and ambiance

Pros: Location Location and view from our room.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Go to the Farmer's Market and enjoy the live music they have every day. Not far from the Museum of Anthropology at B.C. University.
We stayed 3 nights at this hotel on Granville Island. Our room had a balcony with great views of the harbor and Vancouver. Farmer's Market was within walking distance. We ate both at the Hotel and the Farmer 's Market. It was a peaceful place to come to after a day of sightseeing.

Perfect Relaxed Environment

Posted 28-Sep-2017
Pros: small intimate and right next door to one of the best restaurants in the area. also close to all of the shops and restaurants on Granville Island.
Cons: It is an older hotel so some modernization could be done ie. AC & some bathroom fixtures. Very clean and comfortable though.
Location: You could easily spend a day or two just visiting shops & restaurants on Granville Island and access the entire Vancouver area by bus or water taxi.
This is a great, small, affordalbe hotel on Granville Island away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet close enough to get to all of the tourist and sight-seeing locations of Vancouver. Staff was friendly and the service was good. Loved the fact that you could just walk out the door and take a stroll, do some window shopping or grab a meal, snack or cup of coffee. Also right on the water with great views of the city skyline.

Great location, lots of areas to walk and enjoy the area. The restaurant next to the hotel is pricey but good. We walked over to the market and grabbed coffee and a bagel for breakfast. The best part about the hotel is really the location. The rooms are small but clean, we spent the extra money for a balcony room and the balcony was tiny but it did give us some fresh air and a great view.
