Lovely rooms and great location. But if you’re in a European room, better hope no one wants to take a shower because the only two shared toilets for the whole hotel are in the shower rooms! I’m dying here! Also parking is a few blocks away

Good morning HollyThank you for taking the time to leave a review. We do understand the frustration with waiting for the 2 shared restrooms for the 8 European rooms. Putting in another bathroom is certainly something to consider in future upgrading.When Camas was revitalized as an outdoor shopping mall in 1967, the planners were more concerned with short term parking for the local business traffic. We are thankful to be able to offer parking 2 short blocks away.Take care

A quaint, well kept historic hotel in a lovely small town with great shopping, dining and entertainment right outside your door. You can't ask for anything better. Loved it. :-)

Shared bathroom was a first experience for me!! Not bad, though. Not busy, staff was nice. The whole experience felt very homey and comfortable. I was happy to come back here and rested well after going out to experience some of Portland.

I can't wait to return to Camas and stay at the Camas Boutique Hotel. I stayed one night for business but plan to return for a getaway. The hotel was very nice, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast option was above and beyond anything I have ever experienced. The town of Camas was like walking into a Hallmark movie. I highly recommend visiting this town and booking a few nights at the Camas Boutique Hotel.

Very cool old historical building. Beautiful atrium with tables and chairs on second floor. Bathrobes and nice toiletries. No elevator and steep stairs but properly communicated this at booking. Grout in bathrooms could use some attention but overall very nice. I originally made the reservation for the wrong date and they refused to allow a date change without payment for both days.

It might be nice for some but there are no elevators and the room was on the 3rd floor. We don't do well carrying our bags up. Very inconvenient for a couple of very tired old travelers!!!!

If you love the home town feel of a small town, this hotel is the place to stay. With local establishments within walking distance. The room was comfy and clean. But the bathroom was separated from the room which gave the experience a sense of nuance. Would stay here again and recommend to friends.

Decent place except for the mold/mildew
Honestly, this hotel is quaint and we enjoyed the historic feel. It’s location in the middle of downtown Camas provided easy access to many of the restaurants and vendors in the area, and the hotel has good relations with many community partners that granted you unexpected discounts. We were put in a European room, which meant we shared two bathrooms with the entire third floor; it was a new experience and one I don’t think we will be repeating for the sheer inconvenience of wanting to use the bathroom and both being taken. However, the room we were given left a bit to be desired…bed was comfortable and at first glance, it seemed clean. But when we ran the A/C and left for a few hours, we returned to the smell of mildew in the air. Being an old venue, we didn’t think much of it at first. I had a cold I was getting over when we first arrived, but that night we slept with the A/C on and I had a tough time sleeping for more than a few hours with constant coughing. The next morning, I felt worse for wear but figured I would get better as the day wore on. That evening, my partner realized there was mold on the A/C vents, and the runoff reservoir was completely filled with dirty water. We slept that evening with the window open and A/C off, which helped some. However, without having hotel staff on the premises between 9pm-9am, we couldn’t contact someone about the issue and not having a breeze made it an uncomfortably hot night. My cough has worsened as a result of the hotel stay.

Thank you for staying at this historic hotel that is unlike any other. Yes, being historic & built in 1907, the footprints are of an old hotel that didn't have an elevator nor is there can ever be a provision for one. Downtown Camas itself being historic has some challenges such as parking!

It was my first time trying an european room and it was just weird sharing a bathroom with others. I did have to use the bathroom one morning and had to walk across the street to the coffee shop. Full bed room was nice and very comfortable. There wasn’t a blind on the window so it was a little awkward keeping it open. There were a couple little spiders that also got in my bed and I had to take care of them. Very good location and so many good food options all around. Would only stay again, if I can have a suite with a bathroom.

Booked a queen bed which the front desk confirmed at check in. The bed was actually a Full. Went back downstairs and she said “oh yeah, they recently switched the bed because the room was too small”. No extra room so we couldn’t switch. Not a good start to this stay. The hotel is not the best as all the rooms are really small and one pet peeve is when you book 4 people, they only put 2 towels. Why do they do that?! The location is excellent and they give you breakfast at the best restaurant in town.
