Filled out an unexpected liability form
The clerk seemed disinterested or uncomfortable about registering me. She had a friendly conversation with the previous guest, but changed her attitude when it was my turn. Then, she told me I had to fill out and sign a form indicating that I would not put any pets in my room. I don't know why I had to do that. I don't think I have every filled out such a form during registration. I asked why, but I was not given a satisfactory explanation. The clerk was evasive or reticent in her reply. Then, she passed me over to another clerk to complete my registration. The second clerk was more respectful and attentive, but he only had to pass me the keys and give me directions. It was a strange experience!

All Accent Inn locations have designated pet friendly rooms for those guest traveling with their pets. Due to allergies not all rooms are pet friendly. The signature on the registration card is acknowledgement that their room is both non-smoking and not a designated pet room.
