However, apartment is clearly not a long-term apartment situation… It is a short term rental that could use some repairs. Every window is missing slats from its blinds, which gives the impression of a lack of privacy. The bathroom needs a really good deep clean. There’s mold in the tiles and mold on the shower curtain …. the pink kind. The bathtub is rusty and very, very slippery.The washer and dryer in the bedroom in the pictures, the washer and dryer behind the door, but currently the doors off the hinges and just sitting in the wall. Management was quick to help us check in at the time of check-in, which did not work as easily as planned, but we did end up getting in. The location and security for this property is the biggest selling point! It is not even a 1/2 block to the waterbus taxi to explore a large portion of Vancouver and you can take a nice beach path walk to Stanley Park. I loved this location! The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had most of what you need, and the living space is adequate for our on-the-go expectations. The only drawback is no A/C. The condo gets very hot with the afternoon sun. We opened windows to cool off at night but there are no screens, so bugs come in. If there is no breeze, it does not cool off enough at night.
