All staff was very nice and friendly. Breakfast options were good too. Very easy off and on the highway.

My room was comfortable and clean. Access was easy and checkin was quick. On the negative side, the blackout blind in the room didn’t work with the wall electrical control leaving the room blacked out during my stay. Additionally the coffee machine in the room had no coffee to brew. Good thing there was plenty in the dining area.

Seems to be very new. Liked the walk in shower, rather than the traditional tub/shower combination. Our room was small, but well equipped with fridge, microwave, TV. And it was quiet, even though we are close to I-10.

Nicole the front desk agent was WONDERFUL. I was worried about not being able to see my car and trailer and she found me a room with a great view of them. I feel safe, secure and cared for.. usually i just check in and check out with no adoo..... but she made it special and let me ask all kinds of 'stupid' tired traveler questions, all with a warm smile and let's DO IT attitude, they are lucky to have her here. I travel a lot with my job and am a Best Western Diamond member, I think I will have to make Hampton Inn one of my favorite stops instead. Lucky accident for me after a bad experience at another local hotel who wouldn't let me park my car with trailer in their lot. The room is delightful, great soap and shampoos, coffee maker, fridge, microwave and even earplugs in case of noise and a nice layout with comfortable chairs as well as a semi firm/soft queen bed and awesome water pressure in room 102..... I will definitely stay here again.

great location if traveling from AZ to TX. We did a nine hour drive to San Antonio and great stop. Clean, great check in. Ate at the Van Horn Cattle Co., really good food.

There were a lot of containers and trash around the property outside. The back outside door was broken and so stayed open all the time. The room was ok. It was an odd place. Not terrible, but something just off. The whole design was weird. Also very expensive. I wouldn’t stay again

The hotel was under renovation and I did not know this when I booked it. Very disappointed that I had to pay full price. If I knew about the renovations I would of stayed elsewhere

Most of property under renovation. Breakfast was in a small room. My room was supposedly renovated, but the mattress seemed well broken in. Room was adequate. The staff very friendly.

Right now they are renovating the property. I am sure it will be very nice and upgraded soon . As of now 10/ 16/23 ask to see if the are finished. The re was no soap, shampoo, waste basket, t.v. clicker. There was a cozy bed and a/c . However , the construction noise woke us up at 8 am. They are doing their best but until it is finished not a great experience. The management was apologetic and tried to make amends as best they could.

The pillows had the smell of dirty unwashed hair. I put a towel over them and went to sleep. The staff was very helpful

We didnt have the opportunity to stay here as we had to reschedule our booking due to a big rig overturn on our way there and we could not get through. The manager was adamant that we pay a cancellation penalty even though we didnt cancel but rescheduled for the next night. We then cancelled the following nights booking as we didnt want to stay with this place anymore.

Hot tub was very clean. Nash at front desk was very pleasant and helpful with information. Breakfast buffet was incredible! Lots of delicious items. Fabolous coffee! Bed was very comfortable, and room and bath area very clean.

The check in host, Nash, was very friendly, efficient, and accomodating. Breakfast satisfied our needs. Would stay here again. A note to management that we did not express at checkout was there was a slight tear in the chair and the flooring around the drain in hot tub was sharp. It is something you may want to smooth out. 😊

Over Rated Hampton 5/10 for the $$$
We stay at the same hotel about a week ago when we traveled to Phoenix and had a very pleasant stay that's why we booked another night on the way back to Austin. This time the same clerk put us in a handicap room and I asked politely if he could move us to another room. He said that he couldn't. I think wouldn't because he said he only had been working there 3 weeks. The room was old and somewhat dirty, holes in the carpet and the door to the bathroom opened to the entry to the room and would not stay open. For a handicap room I think it would be better to have the door open into the room instead. Someone that is handicapped would have a difficult time going in & out.

Staff was unfriendly, uninformed about service, did not do ANYTHING to ensure I was comfortable. Room TV did not work and they couldn’t fix it or move my room. Staff did not inform me of “hidden” charges at check-in. Refused to provide receipt at check-out. I will NEVER stay there again!

Very small, almost cramped room; heater couldn’t keep up with very cold (20 /- degrees) night…set at 70 degrees, ran constantly and got up to 69. Breakfast limited. WAY more expensive than what it was worth.

We have been staying at Hampton Inns on our road trips for years. In the past Hampton has been a well maintained, adequately staffed facility. Sadly such is not the case at this property. I understand that the pandemic has done serious damage to the hospitality industry in general, but certain things are simply unacceptable. If there are funds lacking to properly maintain the entire property, perhaps it is time to close blocks of rooms until they can be brought back to standard. Lacking that, it may be time to close the hotel to allow proper funding for another.

We have stayed happily at Hampton Inns for years but this property is showing the lack of care that a quality hotel needs to hold its reputation. It is very disappointing to see any Hampton Inn sink to this level.
