It appears to be well maintained and had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was great.The water around the dock is very shallow, which makes it a good spot to wade or swim....but not for fishing. We did not realize until we arrived that the entire lake is pretty shallow (about 20 feet maximum depth). It has a reputation as a great fishing lake, but you really need a boat to do any serious fishing.Lakeside Park in town is a beautiful spot with lots of amenities for both kids and adults, and does provide some areas that you can fish from shore. We made Friday supper in the well stocked kitchen and enjoyed some time in the hot tub. Explored the Oshkosh area Saturday with a nice supper at TJ's Harbor. House was very clean and had all of amenities that we needed. Really enjoyed the hot tub and also having the use of a grill during our stay. Host was was very accommodating and helpful.
