The deck was lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings very much, overall a nice stay but there were some challenges. On the downside: We had some difficulty on the steep gravel driveway with our one non 4 wheel drive vehicle. The mattresses on the main level were extremely firm and uncomfortable. I was traveling with 2 disabled elderly folks, which I had discussed with the host; the queen sized bed sat up way too high for a handicapped person to safely get in, and one set of bathroom grab bars around the toilet in master bath was placed too far back on the wall to be of any help. There were no folding luggage racks in the bedrooms and no hooks on bathroom doors for wet towels. Finally, this house was expensive to rent, and for the price I thought the host could have NOT required the guests to provide their own bath tissue. Covid shortages have resolved at this point, I think basic hospitality should include toilet paper, it was just one more thing for me to pack. ##### Joan P. We were in town for a family wedding and we all stayed in this house. It was well stocked with essentials, secluded, and has a beautiful wraparound deck that we really enjoyed. It was clean and we had more than enough space and bathrooms for everyone. Being dog friendly was a huge bonus for us and our dog loved being able to check out the surrounding woods. The house is super big & had plenty of room. The 3 teenage boys were all downstairs away from us adults. The 4 adults had the 2 bedrooms upstairs. It was perfect. The house is so clean. It is in a great location, close to everything & so secluded. The owners are wonderful hosts & we had everything we needed from them. The pictures do not do this place justice. We will be back next year on another float trip. It was so peaceful & beautiful to wake up, sit out on deck &, watch all the hummingbirds.
