Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate needs. Even went to their brought bread that we had night before at dinner to breakfast when asked. Food was outstanding. Distinctive European feel. Will be my go to place when vacationing in Vail. Loved every minute. Worth every penny.
"Great location to Lionshead village and town bus."
There was a ski hire shop in the Lodge itself, the service was fantastic. There was an amazing Indian Restaurant in the lobby and a fun bar also. I thought the location was fantastic. The rooms are small but we coped for 3 nights... I would easily stay again and would happily recommend to others needing just a room.. Reception were friendly and helpful.
Stayed at Manor Vail Lodge for 3 nights (Fri-Mon) last weekend and had a blast! Three things about this place that set it apart: walk to lifts, great farm-to-table pub inside and ski butler on prem. This was our first trip to Vail, and we didn't have any gear (basically stayed over after a biz trip to Denver). Ski butler got us all set up Friday night so we could hit the slopes first thing on Saturday, and the skis were on the rack by the lift, no carrying. After a long day (we tried to take every lift, not that easy at Vail), we enjoyed a perfect pint of locally brewed pale ale with some delicious charcuterie at the Fitz Pub, which is inside the lodge. I have to say that there are few restaurants (including high-end ones) that can match what they serve at the Fitz, and the staff was real friendly too. There are two pools and four hot tubs at the lodge, they weren't busy at all. Heated walkways add to the experience.
We spent 2 nights on resort. Our 1 bedroom condo was upgraded to a 2 bedroom. It was fairly small but comfortable for 3 people, and beautifully decorated. Full kitchen was a great convenience. Property had a nice pool and sauna although located quite far from our condo for walking at below freezing temperature. Bus services were convenient to get to Vail town.
These rooms are terrific! Lovely location and super comfortable rooms with all of the amenities you would expect. Wish I would have had a longer stay in which to really enjoy the room and hotel thoroughly.
This smoke-free, ski-in/ski-out hotel is located at the base of Vail Mountain, just steps away from the Eagle Bahn gondola. …More
