Marvel at the breathtaking vistas of Vail Mountain and the Gore Range from this contemporary mountain condo perched in the heart of Lionshead Village. Nestled within the vibrant heart of Lionshead Village, Vail 21 Unit 602, by Mountain Vacation Lodging, is an exquisite penthouse condominium with panoramic views, impeccable style, and luxurious quality. Conveniently positioned a mere 150 meters from the Eagle Bahn Gondola and Born Free Express Lift, this ski-in, ski-out retreat includes a living room and den, two outdoor spaces, 3 bedroom suites, state-of-the-art kitchen appliances, and a host of other remarkable features. The Property:
The views are best from the kitchen and dining area, from the upper level den, and from either one of the two outdoor spaces, but even from the living room's chaise lounge sofa, you can enjoy the views while relaxing by a real wood fire and while streaming your favorite media on the large HDTV. The kitchen is fully equipped and outfitted with top-tier appliances from Wolf, Bosch, and Sub Zero, and also features a spacious 45 bottle wine and beverage cooler.

The condo has two levels. Upstairs you'll find the first of three bedroom suites, and what a suite it is! The bedroom area features vaulted ceilings and a large flat screen TV mounted perfectly for viewing from the plush King size bed. The bedroom includes a dedicated workspace for those who need to get a little bit of work done. A rolling barn door creates privacy for the bathroom while tying in perfectly with the bedroom's wood accent wall. The bathroom's shower and vanity are large enough to share, and with a futon in the den, this suite is built to share. Originally this condo had a very large rooftop deck. Now this condo now has a private den and a smaller rooftop deck. Separated from the bedroom area by sliding glass doors and curtains, the den includes a futon, HDTV, vaulted ceilings, and incredible views. Another set of sliding doors provide access to the rooftop balcony, where a bar has been built in. This is the perfect spot for morning coffee or apres ski delights.

Back on the main level of the condo, the second bedroom suite offers another opulent respite. The rustic barnwood wall combines perfectly with the riveted headboard and high end bedding to create a sophisticated style. The Queen size bed fits perfectly and another HDTV is wall mounted for viewing from bed. The ensuite bathroom features a large shower with a rainfall showerhead. The third bedroom could work for another couple, or up to 3 people. It has a bunk bed with a Twin size on top and a Full size bed on the bottom. Like the first two bedrooms, this suite also features a wall mounted HDTV and a beautifully renovated private bathroom.

Amenities:
The condo has many. The wood burning fireplace is certainly a treat. The large HDTVs and free WiFi are certainly nice. We have mentioned the rooftop deck, but there is also a covered balcony off the living room. In addition to fantastic views, it has an outdoor dining table and a gas grill. The condo also has an entry area with coat racks and storage, plus a private washer and dryer. In addition to the condo's private amenities, guests at this property will enjoy access to the building's shared amenities, which include a rooftop hot tub, the elevator, and onsite shops, including a ski rental shop.

Location:
From this condo, access to the slopes is quick and hassle-free with less than 180 meters separating the Vail 21 elevator from the Eagle Bahn Gondola and Chair #8 (the Born Free Express Chairlift). Enjoy shorter lift lines compared to Gondola 1 in Vail Village. Lionshead Village is one of the two base villages for Vail Mountain, a delightful pedestrian-friendly area with heated cobblestone streets. It offers a wealth of amenities including a gourmet market, a charming outdoor ice skating rink, dozens of shops ranging from fine apparel to sports gear and gifts, and many dining options, from casual to 5 star fine dining. Additionally, Lionshead Village hosts a variety of exciting events throughout the year, including Vail Jazz, Bluegrass festivals, Oktoberfest, and more. During the summer, take advantage of the extensive trail network for hiking or mountain biking, offering routes suitable for all skill levels. If you want to explore more of Vail, it's very easy! You can opt to stroll or bike along the picturesque path that follows Gore Creek, connecting Lionshead to Vail Village and beyond. Lionshead seamlessly connects to Vail Village and the entire town of Vail via the free bus. The Lionshead Parking Structure and Transportation Center is right across the street.

Arrival, Accessibility, and Parking:
– Accessing the property: Enjoy contactless check in. On the day of arrival, after the 4 pm check in time, proceed to the unit to park and use your access code at the door. From the parking, your most direct route to the elevator is down a half flight of stairs. If you prefer to avoid stairs entirely, just head left to the heated sidewalk along Lionshead Circle you'll find the same elevator between the ground level retail shops.
– Parking: Please note, you do not need a vehicle when you stay here, especially if you're visiting in the ski season. That said, this condo comes with one reserved, assigned parking space. In addition, you'll have the option to utilize the Lionshead parking structure, which is right across the street. Rates vary from free to hourly and daily rates. For the summer of 2023 parking was free during the day and $35 total for up to 14 nights. For winter 2023-2024, rates range from free to $60/night. Check the Town of Vail site for updated rates, which could change anytime and will certainly change from one year to the next.
– 4WD vehicle information: The roads in Vail which lead to and from this property are generally easy to navigate and well maintained. However, please note that your route to the area may include a mountain pass. When traveling during snow and winter weather conditions, 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive and tires with good tread are recommended.

** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. Great location and views.

Very convenient. Essentially a ski-in/ski-out. Great views from the penthouse. There are only two units on this level. The elevator is a must for this 6th floor unit. Overall, the unit is small but with very good use of space. Great finishes, very comfortable. Easy access to the roof top hot tub. Only negative is the lack of privacy in the master bedroom. The positives are too many to list. Highly recommend.

Cozy condo in amazing location

We always love staying in Lionshead and were excited to discover this hidden gem just steps away from the gondola and ski school. The rooms are small but clean and modern and felt cozy for our family who spent most of the day on the slopes. The view of the mountain was a welcome sight every morning from the kitchen. The hot tub was very conveniently located just down the hall outside the condo. The master bedroom is located on the second floor up a set of stairs (steep, not great for young children) in a loft space with no door, which worked okay for us as a family but which might not work as well for a group of adults wanting more privacy. We look forward to staying here again.
