The kitchen is small but well stocked. There is a washer and dryer in an ideal location by the upstairs bedrooms . The private hot tub in the back yard was a treat!! However, communication with the management company/owner was fair as we had an issue when we arrived that after multiple text messages and phone calls took 24 hours to resolve. The garage is not available for parking as there are trash bins and other household goods, so we kept our minivan outside. The fireplace is electric and does not give off any heat, it is purely for esthetics. The location has great views but to get to the closest Vail bus stop is a 1/2 mile walk down a steep hill with no sidewalk. We ended up driving everyday to Vail/Beaver Creek. A few suggestions that our family noticed to make the the stay more comfortable: Provide a few blankets for couch Ice maker not working Valves for showers are very confusing (no hot water in the upstairs hall bathroom-luke warm at best) Exhaust fan in master not working Probably the biggest issue was the beds didn’t have fitted sheets instead tucked flat sheets that every night slide off mattresses (especially twin beds). While not on the bus line that is the only drawback we found. The beds were good, bathroom beautiful, sofa huge, and the hot tub was hot! Definitely plenty of space for a large family. The kitchen was a bit smaller then what I'm used to and not stocked with even the basic essentials. Since we went during Covid, we were not eating out, so cooking at home most nights. I had to go out and buy pans 9x11, 9x13, 8x8, etc and oven mitts! Not one oven mitt in the kitchen which I consider a basic. We had to re-clean the silverware and bowls which must have been taken out of dishwasher and not checked for caked on food before being put away. The management company, Berkshire Hathaway and in particular our representative, Mike, were great and very responsive to our needs. He answered questions, was extremely friendly and had contractors out within an hour to help with a couple of things. Ended our days in the hot tub which we loved! The location and views are gorgeous and it was an easy drop off at the slopes for whoever was skiing. I would recommend this home and if we visit Vail again, we would go back to this home. ##### Randy M.
