It is close to the Lionshead Gondola yet still away from the crowds. I love that you can just walk outside and enjoy the mountain views! The room is more of a hotel room with just a microwave (not great) and a very small refrig. However, we didn't plan on cooking so it wasn't an issue for us. The coffee maker should be better though. We opted to go to the lobby to get coffee each morning. We had planned to just buy some good coffee to make in the room, but the coffee maker wasn't nice enough to even bother. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but after seeing a few other units while they were being cleaned, we would opt to stay in one of those. This unit could use a few nicer touches that wouldn't cost much... such as the coffee maker, a nicer microwave & refrig., a better shower curtain, even a better furniture arrangement compared to the other units we saw.
