This romantic, charming home is a beautiful, peaceful home that truly is a home away from home. Just a 15 minute drive to Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort, and 10 minutes to the Pecos Wilderness Trail Head, Carson National Forest. Taos, NM 20 miles away, and Santa Fe, merely an hour away. Our newly restored home has maintained its original charm with modern touches, such as hand-sanded hardwood floors, new upscale appliances, granite countertops, soaker tub w/jets, custom built shower, and reclining leather couches. Kitchen fully equipped, 6-burner gas stovetop, wall oven, microwave, dishwasher, opens to a private portal for outdoor eating, grilling and relaxation. Master bedroom with queen bed on main floor. Third bed is in upstairs loft. Has private outside entrance, large sitting area, queen bed, and 1/2 bath. The adjoining balcony provides an awesome view of the majestic Jicarita Peak and surrounding open fields. Washer/dryer, bed and bath linens provided. There were a total of 5 adults and 2 kids. We brought our own hand soap and paper towels because in most places that stuff isn’t provided, but there was not only hand soap, but laundry detergent, and shampoo available. Check in was easy and when some stray puppies wandered into the property the owners were quick to respond. The view from the patio was beautiful every morning and the landscaping was immaculate.
