Overnight en route to the Pyrenées.

We were welcomed by the owner and she was charming. We had medication that needed to be refrigerated and she couldn't have helped more. The room and bathroom were spotless. Breakfast was great and at the time we requested. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed that evening but the owner was happy for us to picnic in the garden.....even offering plates or washing up. Our only disappointments....the room was small. The beds ....twin .....were against the walls with just a small cabinet in between byt there was air con, needed as there was a heatwave.Unfortunately there was no fitment in the bathroom to turn the shower handset into an overhead shower.

The host is very kind and makes you feel at home. The little restaurant has a limited menu, but everything is freshly homemade and super tasty.

Rustic but well looked after

We stopped for one night on an evening when the restaurant was closed. We were made very welcome (there are 4 rooms only and we were the only guests). The hostess cooked us a lovely three course dinner ( though menu was limited) and in the morning we has a lovely continental breakfast. Simple fair but plentiful. Off the besten track and typical local French

En 8 ans d’expérience pro (déplacements fréquents) avec de très nombreuses nuits d’hôtels un peu partout en France (fréquence moyenne une fois par semaine de travail) je n’ai jamais été reçu avec autant de bienveillance, sympathie, flexibilité, serviabilité (mots choisis avec soin, sans compromis sur le sérieux, la propreté, confort etc). Je n’ai pas d’intérêt à dire cela, rien ne m’a été demandé, je ne connais pas la gérante. J’estime simplement que cette dame mérite une réputation à la hauteur de sa performance professionnelle, si vous hésitiez à y aller n’hésitez plus.

C'est un petit hôtel dans un village a 5 minutes de Pau. Calme, propre refait à neuf. Service impeccable, bonne restauration. Je recommande.
