The Riv Resort is approximately 45 mins from Concan. 30 mins from the Frio River. 5 mins south of Camp Wood. Sits on an exclusive section of the Nueces River. Come stay at The Riv Resort for a unique vacation experience as you take in the serenity and beauty of Texas! Items available for rent: Private pavilions, private docks, kayaks, paddle boards, tubes Answers to frequently asked questions: \-We do not allow pets \-The Riv is located 5 minutes south of Camp Wood, Texas on Highway 55. \-Sleeping arrangements: 3 bedrooms (Room 1: king bed, Room 2: king bed, Room 3: two twin beds) and a living room (one daybed with a pullout bed). \-We provide all linens and towels...even towels for the river, as well as body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. \-The kitchen is stocked with kitchenware: utensils, plates, cups, pots/pans, dish soap, etc. (there is not a dish washing machine), and coffee makers (one Keurig and one traditional coffee maker). \-Refrigerator and freezer (there is not an ice maker) \-Microwave and oven/range \-Each cabin has a propane bbq and a wood bbq on the patio. \-Must be 21 years old to reserve and an adult must be present during the rental period. \-Maximum of 8 tenants per cabin. \-Only tenants of The Riv cabins are allowed on the property and have access to the river. \-Fire pits are on site. Firewood can be purchased from us as you request it. \-The cabins are only about 100 yards from the river. \-You can rent kayaks, paddle boards , and tubes from us, as long as we have timely notice (a few days). Our cabin was nice and comfortable. The only negatives are the poor wifi service, and the shared docks/river access points get congested. The river is quite deep so not ideal for young kids to just play. There are few spots that are less than 6 ft deep. The scenery is beautiful, and we were able to tour the larger "lodges" that were vacant at the time- those are phenomenal for larger families or multiple couples to share. ##### Kari M. The location was excellent and this was our first time here and first time on the Nueces River as we usually go to the Comal or Frio. The water and location was excellent and the cabins were new and clean. The amenities made the stay even better with a very nice fire pit, charcoal and gas grills and well maintained grounds. The cabin was very clean and the location is absolutely amazing!!! From the view, nights out on the back patio, to the river, best vacation I’ve had. Everyone that we came in contact with were so kind and helpful. I had a million questions and every single one of them were answered. The Nueces River is amazing & only like a 2 minute walk from the cabin. The Frio River is about 30 miles away and the drive to it was breathtaking. You can go be with the crowd and return to peacefulness. The local town is about 5 minutes away which Was very convenient for us. We live near Galveston, Texas & we thought the drive would be long and boring but it wasn’t at all and the scenery is so worth it.
