"The property is accurately described and the apartment is furnished with everything that is needed for an extended stay. It is an easy walk down the hill to Ellmau from the apartment. The mountain views from the apartment are spectacular. The owner is very easy to communicate with and always responds in a timely fashion. Our stay was for three days and we hope to return again. Highly recommended!"

"For UK guests, having to take your own bedding and towels is a negative. Location is not a two-minute walk into town: ten minutes in, nearly twenty back as it’s all up! The bus from town finishes at 5pm. Kitchenette is facilitated - just. A dining table would be nicer than the fixed worktop, especially as there is room. The specification suggests there is a bedroom but it is a studio apt with a separate bathroom. Good sized balcony and large glass doors a definite bonus with a decent view."

"The place was quite clean and nice, and they allowed us an early check in. Our lodge was nice and spacious, and comfortable to stay in. Sauna was pretty nice too, only really busy on one of the evenings we were there, but overall had the necessities. Close to the town centre, and there’s a free shuttle bus to take you to the ski area too. Only thing is they could improve the breakfast a bit - on one of the mornings the fruit we were given didn’t seem very fresh (the apples were very soft etc),...

"We had the middle apartment with the balcony at the front off the kitchen, ideal for watching village life whilst eating breakfast and catching the morning sun. We also had access to a large shared balcony at the rear which was ideal for catching the sun at the other end of the day whilst enjoying evening dinner. "Everything was perfect, from booking to our stay. The host gave us all the information we needed as a group. "The chalet is well equipped and has a great location, with very nice views from terrace and balcony. From the chalet we could start several hikes with amazing views. We also drove to other attractions not far away, like the Kaprun dams and the Hintertux glacier. We enjoyed a lovely stay in the area and can highly recommend!"

"Quiet location on the ground floor of a large block. Sun on the balcony in the morning. 5 minute walk from the centre of the village. 2 minute walk to large supermarket. Enjoyed the table tennis, pool and sauna in the basement. We had a lovely time in Saalbach."
