Cold night in Amsterdam
Overall a very nice hotel. Nice rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast. However the heating in my room did not work, even after changing rooms. The rooms were freezing at night.

Without doubt the major disappointment was the pathetic shower would have been better served by using one of the plastic cups they provide and pouring water on myself. Nice location and restaurant very difficult to get a drinks at the bar

The hotel is very attractive and modern. It has a good dining facility with a wide choice of food. Staff were friendly and explained how to get into Amsterdam and booked our taxi back to the airport. The hotel is a lot further away from the centre of Asterdam than the website suggests - a €40 min taxi journey or tram from the very end of the line. The hotel also had no hot water one morning with no apology or explanation from staff. There were coffee machines but they did not work.

It was very clean and quite, staff would help us when needed but wasn’t very many people around to ask anything. The menus to eat where rubbish wasn’t much on them was starving at dinner so ordered dominos. They key card to get in to the rooms was a joke we got locked out of our room every time we left and they wasn’t carded they gave us it was a bit of paper with a bar code on that never worked for us. Highly annoying and rubbish system. The staff was nice the rooms where lovely but wouldn’t stay again because lack of food and staff presence.

Location was quite far from the centre and the bus stop nearest the hotel was not operational over the weekend. Hotel itself was lovely and modern. The bedroom could have done with a deep clean as the headboard was stained and rubbish was left in the room. The breakfast offered plenty of variety although there were quite a few flies around the fresh meat and cheese.

Went for our 25th wedding anniversary as a surprise asked to be upgraded and have rose petals in room . Reception blurted this out as soon as we arrived not giving me time to move my husband out of over hearing then asking for 75euros the upgrade just looked like two beds pushed together and there where a few fake petals really unhappy .

Beware - looks nice but that is deceiving
Upon check-in, we received QR code to get into room instead of a key. This code did not work. I had to go to the customer service office twice in order for them to give me a plastic key. I felt that the customer service was non-existent at this hotel. One associate was reading a book on tablet and barely looked up when I mentioned my concern. Room itself was ok. It was strange that the maid service came every day, but didn’t attend to any dishes that were left in room. I was displeased when on our last day of the stay the maid entered the room without knocking at before 10am and I had just exited the shower. Check out isn’t even until 11am. I felt this wasn’t right. We stayed 3 nights at the resort and the main elevator was not up and running 2 of those 3 nights. I felt for such a large hotel this wasn’t acceptable. Location of the hotel is ok. It is 40 minutes from the center of Amsterdam. Breakfast was good - my only complaint is that certain items ran out and were not replenished quick enough and the coffee machine wasn’t running 2 days.

Dear It's a pity you didn't like your stay. Apparently the technics abandoned you at that time. Of course this isn't normal. Furthermore the housekeeping and staff weren't on their best. Of course we will discuss this with them!

The room key is a paper printed from the computer and did not work most of the time and have to go downstairs all the time for assistance because there is no phone in the room. The TVs in the whole hotel did not work for a whole day and the engineer can only come and repair the following day. The lift broke down and had to drag suitcases up flights of stairs to the second floor..

Don't stay here.
To begin when we arrived there is no front desk, no check in instructions. I had to go look for an employee to tell me that I needed to check in on a computer at a computer station in the center of the room. Once I was checked in the room key is a piece of paper with a code, which did not work. I then booked a second night for the same room, the next morning after breakfast the key had been inactivated. I went downstairs to the office to be told I had booked a different room which I had not the employee was extremely rude and would not allow us to stay in our existing room. We had to pack up and move to the ground floor on the opposite side of the hotel in a larger room with less amenities. I went to complain to the manager about the employee and I spoke to another employee who confirmed I had not booked the bigger room that the hotel had upgraded us to a bigger room ad that we could have stayed in the initial room. She ask if we wanted to move again at which time I said we would stay in the new room as I didn't want to pack again. At 4:00 pm I went to the office to book another night directly with the hotel so there would been no confusion to be told to book on Hotels.com. I went to hotels.com and found a room, which I had the employee confirm was the same room at that location. She confirmed and assured me she would extend our stay by another night. Next day after breakfast key didn't work. Found out the employee had us booked at a different hotel.

The property is outside Amsterdam so it gives you a country side experience. The view to the riverside is beautiful. There was some constant noise from outside, most probably the aircon unit which runs 24/7. The bedding was old and I felt dust mites as I am allergic to them so had sleepless nights. There is no receptionist and it is a self check in and checkout service. There is no metro service from Rai so you have to walk a lot if you wish to use public transport. Taxis are extremely expensive and they charge double the normal price. There is a horrible picture of a woman holding a pillow on the full wall. You don't want to wake up to such a silly poster in the morning. If it was some sort of landscape then it would've been great.

Goed bed en nette kamer. Ik had alleen wel iets van zeep en shampoo op de kamer verwacht. Er was nu zelfs geen mogelijkheid tot handen wassen. Ook ontbijt had wat uitgebreider gemogen. Was zeer karig. Verder prima service en goed genoeg voor een overnachting tussendoor.

Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und sauber. Leider ist die Dusche nicht ganz dicht so das vor der Dusche alles mit Wasser überflutet ist. War aber auch vor 2 Jahren schon als wir dort waren. Momentan ist die Frühstücksverfügbarkeit nicht so üpig wie beim letzten Besuch. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Komme gerne wieder

Wir hatten moderne, saubere Zimmer. Leider keine Balkone und kein Fenster zu öffnen, so dass ständig die Klimaanlage mit gewissem Geräuschpegel lief. Der quasi im Zimmer offene Waschplatz mit Dusche ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Frühstück ist in der Corona-Situation katastrophal, wie in einer einfachen Jugendherberge: Jeden Tag nur eine Sorte Schnittkäse und Wurst, billigste Brötchen. Joghurt, Konfitüre und Butter immer in Plastikverpackungen. Kein Honig, kein Müsli. Frischmilch und Croissants auf Verlangen. Banane, Apfel und Mandarine zum Selbstzubereiten. Das angeschlossene Restaurant war leider nicht geöffnet. Am Anreisetag konnte man uns bei dem heißen Wetter nicht einmal eine Flasche kaltes Wasser organisieren. Kein Supermarkt in der Nähe. Wir mussten unsere Getränke selbst besorgen. Kühlschränke sind nicht auf den Zimmern. Ab Nachmittag haben wir uns auf die schöne, am Fluss gelegene Restaurantterrasse gesetzt und gepicknickt. Das Hotel liegt 10 min Fußmarsch zur Metro entfernt. Diese fährt ca. 20 min bis zum Hauptbahnhof.
