"Old fashioned market town hotel and pub, but the bed was so comfy and the room cool despite the heatwave outside so I had a good night's sleep.
Dinner and breakfast were good value for money and delicious.
Parking free and plentiful.
The town itself was sweet if a bit shabby. Recommend Flame N Frost for an ice cream.
Very convenient for the shopping village, but google maps obviously taking everyone to the station. If driving, Go left past the front of the hotel to get there."
"Absolutely stunning barn conversion - the design and quality of construction shine through at every point. The garden is a delight to sit in with glorious countryside views across fields, right up to the Brill windmill. We were there during a heat wave, but were kept cool by having the lovely full length double French doors open, with the light curtains closed - and the breeze blew right through the house. Indoors still felt like outdoors as you looked on to the fields and could hear the birds singing. There were also plenty shady spots in the garden. The location is also fantastic. The barn is secluded but very close to Brill which is a charming and vibrant village. We enjoyed walking there across the fields. Jane and Derek were super welcoming and very helpful (before and during our stay). Really, we cant rate this highly enough."
"This is a quirky hotel in a lovely village. Our room was in the house over the road which is part of the hotel. It was a very stylish spacious room with a big bed and beautiful large bathroom with full sized shower, twin sinks and a roll top bath. Plus extra large bath towels and dressing gowns. We arrived on an extremely hot day with the temperature outside in the low 30’s but someone at the hotel had bothered to close our blinds and leave a very welcome fan already cooling the room which was very considerate. We ate in the pub restaurant/bar, the food was good and the young bar and serving staff were helpful and friendly as was the housekeeping lady we met the next day. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short because of the extreme temperatures the following day but we will certainly return again another time to this hotel as we were extremely impressed."
"Super beautiful and spacious home more than suitable for a large family gathering. Beautiful surroundings and great facilities. Lovely bedrooms, plenty of space to sit and relax. Felt our stay was above and beyond. "
"Well it could not of been any better, had a great stay, warm, cozy. 10 minutes from Bicester it's self, we would come back😠sitting watching the birds and wild life was a joy. Loved every minute, only draw back which has nothing to do with our stay, we would come earlier so it was the lighter nights to see more of Bicester and wild life x"

10/10 Excellent
"This place was amazing. It has been lovingly converted into accommodation with so much attention to detail that you don’t want to leave. The additional Christmas decorations were super cute and appreciated as well as the full service kitchen (with coffee and milk), games and fabulous top floor 360°window to watch the sunrise/sunset, wildlife etc.
Highly recommend a stay here. "
