« This is a great whole home property that offers a lot of easy trip options. There is a super cute small downtown that is a good spot for breakfast / shopping. There is a grocery store super close to the house and the kitchen is well equipped for any meal. The home has no AC but did provide fans. « We had a very relaxing stay at Knotting Hill in August 2025. The host’s warm hospitality and special thoughtful touches were apparent leading up to and throughout our stay. Our 8 year old daughter noticed right away 2 Hardy Boys mysteries on the bookshelf and set to read both before we left. We played board games, enjoyed morning coffee and evening stargazing on the deck, grilled and enjoyed seeing so many deer in the yard during our stay.There was plenty of local information in the house to...

« This is a beautiful cabin right on the lake, very peaceful and relaxing! It is a good location for day trips to Lunenberg and the coast, and Kejimkujik NP. Well equipped kitchen (be sure to get groceries before arriving as limited stores nearby). Two canoes made for a fun day of paddling around the lake from island to island. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! »

« From the minute we arrived we felt right at home. The owners live next door, so we stopped over to let them know we were there and to get dinner suggestions. They gave us our privacy, but let us know they were there if we needed anything. This was one of the nicest vacation rentals we have stayed in, the house was very clean and nicely decorated. The weather was perfect, we were able to take the kayaks two mornings before heading out for a day of sight seeing. We will definitely stay there again...
