"Property was clean, spacious, and the view to the lake from the living and dining room is excellent. Very private location, nice doc for sitting and fishing. Lots of kitchen pots, pans…The lake was good for swimming, but not from the beach because it was muddy. The water level was low so not sure if that contributed to the mud. We rented a pontoon and took our floaty toys out into the deeper water."

"The cottage was very cute and the hosts were great to work with. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the photos don’t convey how close the owner’s main house is to this cottage. It is mentioned in the description, but we didn’t realize just how little privacy there would be. The fire pit is in their yard space and you have to walk around their house and within a couple feet of their patio to gain access to the waterfront. If you don’t mind a little shared space, this would be a great place to book! It would be nice though to have a photo of the cottage in relation to the main house so folks can better assess if this is the right place for them to book depending on the type of vacation they’re having."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home provides the perfect place for a group to enjoy the north woods. We enjoyed the fishing, kayaking, and walking in the area. The home is so well set up for us to cook, enjoy meals together and play games."

"Great cabin lakeside. Nice rooms, nice kitchen, large bathroom. Perfect for 5 guys for a week. The Backdraft BBQ is a nice little bar restaurant next door. Lower Gresham lake supplied enough crappie and bluegill for a 20 person fish fry. Would stay there again!"
