The room was spacious with indoor and outdoor sitting areas and a private spring-fed bath overlooking the hot springs and surrounding mountainside. The staff was very attentive and anxious to please. I loved having a private hot spring bath in my own room. The dining experience was a nice mix of western and Japanese cuisine, all perfectly prepared. The location right next to the Unzen National Park cannot be beat. Everything was clean and the staff were friendly and spoke perfect English.
