During the summer, this cottage is perfect for ATV, biking,water activities and hiking. During the winter, it is ideal for snowmobiling, snowshoeing and enjoying the wood burning stove. Only 51 km from Searcmont Ski Resort. The bunk bed room and the games room were accessed through the master bedroom which was a bit odd. There were no window coverings on any of the windows which required some thoughtfulness when changing. Our family is taller than average so the shower also took some adjusting too. There was limited items in the kitchen - so plan to bring oil, spices, everything you might need beyond salt and pepper. There was also no firewood supplied, which wasn’t on the listing so something to be aware of when getting there. The sandy beach was lovely but a bit too far to walk, overall we had a lovely weekend. Beautiful views and sunsets over Lake Superior and we got to see a rolling fog over the lake, so that was pretty cool. Fun outdoor activities in the local area.
