It was a great hotel. I only stayed one night but for the price I was surprised at how clean and nice everything was. The hotel smelled great. I did have to turn the ac to 65 though. It seemed off. It was still hot at 72. Everything else though was perfect. The staff is very friendly.
We had stayed here many years ago so we were pleased to see it has been updated with a contemporary motif and modern décor. Our room was small but clean. The linens and towels were new and crisp white. We just really needed a base for sleeping purposes so this fit the bill. We used to live in Oviedo so this was very convenient to all of the places we wanted to revisit.
Constructed in 1968 as a regional college, the University of Central Florida has grown substantially. The northeast Orlando institution’s 150 brick buildings house nearly 50,000 students. University Boulevard and East Colonial Drive serve as the main commercial drags. Nearby, Little Big Econ State Forest provides a glimpse of old Orlando before human settlement.
