Vacation-style living all year round in a gated community on the lake! Perfect as a place to live and work remotely or as a 4-season vacation home. 90 minutes drive from downtown Chicago via I-90 / 20 minutes from Rockford. Unique custom-built 3-bedroom 2-bathroom 2-story home with high ceilings, large windows and 4 patios on a half-acre private lot surrounded by mature trees with no through traffic. The spacious kitchen is light and bright with custom windows and plenty of cabinet and counter space expanding into a friendly dining room. The loft/rec room area on the 2nd floor is a spacious den. Full unfinished dry basement with laundry. Very energy efficient, new smart appliances, Ring alarm with video surveillance, LED lighting, high-speed internet. Enjoy the amenities that Candlewick Lake has to offer, such as boating, swimming, fishing, skiing and foraging. Play a round of golf on the nine-hole golf course. The clubhouse features fitness center, gym, and large sitting at fireplace with books, magazines and board games. Lake beach, pool, tennis courts, basketball court, miles of bike trail, dog park, RV storage, forest trail and 9 parks throughout the community - all amenities are included (full information on community at Candlewick Lake website).
