We checked in on 25 December and were assigned a room with no heat, needless to say it was a very cold nigh. The next day we transferred to another room with no help in moving to the other room. I feel that I should have been compensated for being in a frigid room. Jessica, the manager said we made one mistake, in fact they made two—why would you rent a room with no heat and not immediately transfer us to another room. The only people that engaged us at all was receptionist and Monica, the lady that sets up the breakfast room. Will have to consider other lodging on our next trip North.

Checkin not so smooth
I reserved my room using my hotels.com points online however when I arrived they charged me for my room. I was told it was for incidentals however it was over 100.00 charge. The charge is still pending however I’m not sure when or how it will get removed. I was told the night auditor will take care of it after they again ran my card for another time. I have been double and triple charged for a room that was supposed to be free

When I went to check in no one was there at the desk had to wait. When I went to check out no one was there, I waited for a while then I found the cook person and let her knee I wanted to be checked out. I felt that this hotel should have been updated. The room I was in, the view out the window was nothing but concrete- they should not have put anyone room there. The bed was outrageously hard. The room was small. I had to ask someone for a do not disturb sign. I did not or would have not thought this would be a Hampton by The Hilton.

The hotel is very nice and clean. You can definitely tell they are still working on things and possibly remodeling some areas. I book through here and paid. Then when I got to the hotel i had to put a card on file (no big deal) but i was never told about a dog fee. Boom get my bill from the hotel they charged me $75 for a dog fee. That wpuld of of been nice to know before hands..
