It's new/renovated, modern, and clean. It's a little hard to tell from the description and images, but the living room is downstairs, the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom are up a big flight of stairs. This was a little tricky with our toddlers and might be a big staircase for the elderly or disabled people. But if that's not a problem for you, then it's a great property! Great location, but the apartment is above a garage and honestly we were expecting at least a place to gather and enjoy the view, like a deck or picture window. The ceilings are very tall, so sound travels, whether that’s footsteps or people speaking- it’s not very cozy like a “retreat.” When we entered, it was very warm and it smelled like paint or fresh flooring had been installed recently— not great for anyone with sensitivities to VOCs.
