It has old slave quarters on the property and an 8 hole outhouse along with a summer kitchen that was used for cooking. (both being renovated) It has 7 fireplaces and a great room with bar. A large music room with a circa 1850 box piano. My wife and i were married here last year with over 100 guests. He’s a super host, took fresh eggs over and of course never shied away from interacting with a house full of Jamaicans! Apart from the property being perfect, Mike is everything! The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, air fryer, pots, pans, plates, utensils and oh coffee machine. Mike even allowed my guest and I to take photos on his truck! Gave my parents a farm tour which they lamented was phenomenal. The linens were more than enough…beds super comfy! Spacious areas and the bar is fully functional and neat. The house is old, with creaky floors and dated furniture, but it was clean, quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the charm and character of the place.Mike, the host, was an absolute pleasure—truly one of the friendliest and most accommodating we’ve come across. He responded immediately to anything we needed, even going out to get us bottled water when he learned we forgot it at the store. He gave us a fun tour of the property, built us a fire, shared fresh chicken eggs, and introduced us to the cows and chickens (which were a hoot!). The bathrooms are modern, and parking was no issue. If the owner is willing, it's worth getting a tour from him. I was fortunate enough to get a tour - fascinating history and the subtle modernizations that have been done to maintain comfort. Beds were very comfortable, room temperatures were adjustable, house was spotless. I would definitely recommend this mansion to anyone that appreciates history. ##### Melanie H. Great place to reunite with friends. We actually never left the property from Friday to Sunday. Did yoga on the front lawn, explored the property and had plenty of space inside to eat and relax.
