Located in Underhill, Vermont and nestled at the base of Mt. Mansfield and situated in a quiet and rural setting, enjoy the sounds of the Browns River and neighboring Clay Brook from the solitude of your porch. While still having the feel of a camp, enjoy the conveniences of a modern home. Just a 2-minute drive to backcountry skiing, hiking trails and mountain biking; 20 minutes to skiing at Smugglers Notch; 35 minutes to Burlington and the shore of Lake Champlain. This property shares a driveway with a separate garage apartment.

Peaceful Retreat

The house was just lovely and looked even better than the pictures! Everything was stocked and nicely taken care of. Looking out the windows to the stream and hearing the sounds was very relaxing. My family enjoyed our time there. Thank you.

Graduation

We enjoyed sitting out at night on the screened in porch while it rained outside. Then fell asleep at night with the sound of a babbling brook on two sides of the property! We even got a double rainbow directly over Mt. Mansfield. Great place to be away from it all.

Great location! It was so nice to sit on the porch swing and hear the stream in the back yard. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Jeremy was very responsive when texted. Would definitely rent again.

Absolutely perfect!

Myself, my 5 year old and my 7 year old stayed here for a super quick weekend of Harvest Market in Underhill. It was a perfect location for us. The creek just outside provided an amazing backdrop for an impromptu photo session. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil or pan you could need and the dishwasher was an unexpected but very welcome surprise. My kids were so excited about this house that they keep asking when we can come back! We will definitely be looking into renting here again!

Loved it

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. My family stayed here over a long weekend and really enjoyed it. The house was clean and had everything we needed, including in the kitchen which is not always the case with a rental. We fell asleep to the sound of the small river and creek alongside the house and spent time reading on the porch. The road that the house is on leads to a bunch of great trails on Mt. Mansfield and it’s a quick trip to stores.

Good summer get-away

The cottage was a wonderful option for a summer get-away for our family of four. We enjoyed the porch and porch swing and the sound of the bubbling brook. The kitchen was larger than we expected and we took advantage of the grill to make dinner a few nights. The location is convenient for hiking and drive times to Burlington and Waterbury (and the Ben and Jerry's Factory tour) are reasonable. The host was very communicative and responded to messages quickly. The property was clean and check-in/check-out were a breeze. Overall a very positive experience!

Christmas vacation

A fabulous house to be in the north country for any season. Hiking, swimming, leaf peeping, skiing and sight seeing all rolled into one house. Wish we could move there!

Very nice house and property.

This house met all our needs while we were in the area for a family wedding. The house was very clean, comfy beds and pillows. The couch was comfy too. Two full bathrooms were welcome and clean. There was a cozy den also with another comfy couch and TV. The kitchen was very nice, beautiful countertops and appliances. The hosts were very thoughtful by leaving counter surfaces, dresser tops and bathroom counters free of knicknacks so there were plenty of places to put our personnel items. The yard is lovely. The brook that runs along the front and side of the property was so nice. Sitting on the porch swing listening to the brook was so peaceful and a perfect place to have my morning coffee. The mudroom was nice with plenty of hooks to hang coats, bags, etc and plenty of shoe storage under the bench. The screen porch was very nice as well. My family and I enjoyed this house and would definitely rebook and recommend it.
