The Hideout restaurant was very over priced, so the next day we ate more local food. The restaurant prepared a seafood grill each night and set tables with candies at the edge of the surf. Breakfast was very good with lots of fruit and an omelette station as well as curry. The hotel is in excellent condition, with spacious, well-maintained rooms and comfortable beds. Both the hotel and restaurant staff are friendly and eager to help. The pool is well-kept, and the air conditioning works perfectly, as does the shower with its very hot water. There's also free parking for your tuk-tuk. The location is perfect, right on the beach and close to everything in Unawatuna. We had a great stay and would definitely come here again!
