The owners have created a lovely, peaceful retreat, set in the beautiful mid Devon countryside, but close enough to pop to the coast if you get lucky with the weather as we did. The cottage was superbly equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the welcome card and wine were a lovely touch- thanks very much! Highlights of our week were the pannier market on Saturday at South Molton and a visit to Appledore and Instow beach on Tuesday, but honestly, just relaxing in the cottage and on the patio was enough in itself.
