We spent the first hour just in awe about how gorgeous the place was! It was so perfectly clean and welcoming in every way. We chose based on the pictures we saw but even they don't do it justice - it's an ideal romantic getaway for a couple to enjoy. We we lucky to have some cold weather and spent time in the spacious backyard with a fire and enjoying the quiet, as well as the outdoor bathtub, which was a real treat! Our dog was very happy to roam around the yard and explore. The host couldn't have been more charming and responsive - I feel like we made a new friend without even meeting her. 5 Stars all the way!! I could go on and on - we had the most relaxing and perfect time and we will absolutely make a return trip to the barn in the future!p.s. Make sure you go to Mount Dora on a weekend to get the full atmosphere - most shops and restaurants are closed Monday and Tuesday. Small, quaint and incredibly tranquil. It's hard to put your finger on it but there's a beautiful peaceful sense that comes over you starting with the funky little path into the house, and the majestic tree shading the amazing back yard. The outside bath tub feel so exposed, but so inviting. Love the décor and simplicity of the kitchen. Nothing fancy, but fancy at the same time. We didn't use the outside tub. If I were to recommend anything, it would be to consider insulating the medicine cabinet as it is directly against the outside wall and my deodorant melted a bit. The person who cuts the lawn should consider asking the renters to move their car to keep all the grass off the car. Got to watch a house be completely torn down across the street.
