The location isn’t super-close to anything but it’s also not far from anything at all. No matter what direction we had to go to see someone it was never more than a half hour drive and usually 10-15 minutes. It was close to all our favorite restaurants and a 5 minute drive to our go-to hiking spot. The house and a lovely and beautifully appointed. It’s also located in an easy area to navigate, especially if you’re not a local. I wish we could have stayed longer! Our only complaint was the air conditioner on the first floor didn’t work well, so it made sleeping in the first floor bedroom uncomfortable in the August heat/humidity. They recently added a picnic table and Adirondack chairs to the yard, for example. So you can see that they care about their guests' experience. ##### Scott E. They're great hosts and the house is lovely. We love the location—a short drive to Kingston, Port Ewen, A Frost Fest/Headless Horseman, etc., but far enough away to be secluded. For the Holiday Season, Jim and Monica decorated with a tasteful wreath and lights, too. ##### Scott E.
