It has 3 bedrooms for a total of 8 people (WITHOUT an extra bed in the living room). The spacious and comfortable bathroom on the upper floor is equipped with a tub, shower, toilet and soapstone heating. There is a separate guest toilet on the ground floor. The 'Captain's Room' and the 'Parents' Bedroom' (because they are equipped with cots) are equipped with a TV and DVD player. The third bedroom 'Bettenburg' has two single beds and a large pull-out bed (160 cm) with a closet. Two very high chairs, changing mat and bed nest are available for the very young residents. A second cot is possible on request. The stairs are also equipped with a stair gate so that nobody can 'fall'. In one of the bedrooms there is also a safe for the safe storage of your valuables. The whole house has underfloor heating, external roller blinds and fly screens. Thanks to the good insulation by clinker on the outer walls, it is cozy and warm in winter and offers a pleasantly tempered living area in summer. On the ground floor you will find a 45 m², bright living area with a perfectly equipped kitchen, spacious dining area and cozy living room. The living room relax on a large leather corner couch and armchair. In terms of technology, you will find a stereo system, television with free Sky reception and DVD player. You can sit comfortably at a large dining table for 8 people. Dishes are generous 16x. The entire living and dining area is individually equipped with solid wood furniture. On the ground floor there is also a utility room for small laundry with a washing machine and dryer, as well as a clothes horse, ironing board and iron. From the bright living area, two large double doors open onto the terrace, which extends on two sides of the house. This is generously furnished with wooden furniture, a beach chair, gr. Market umbrella and brick grill. There are rings with leashes for dogs on two house walls, since the garden is only limited by boulders. The 8-sea water corner is located in the former fishing village of Ückeritz, which today belongs to the amber baths. Our holiday home was again classified with 5 stars in November 2015 and is ideal for a relaxed family and friends vacation. In the off-season and pre-season it is also interesting for couples due to its attractive pricing. In the months of October to March, we greet you with a food voucher for the German House, a homemade jam and also a sauna voucher for each adult guest for the nearby sauna. From the 8-sea corner you can quickly (20 minutes on foot, 8 minutes by bike) the beautiful Baltic Sea with its white sandy beaches, which was voted the most beautiful Baltic Sea beach in 2016\. The sunset over the backwaters can be admired from the terrace. Shops and excellent restaurants (German House) are very well given in the village and within walking distance. Hikers and cyclists will get their money's worth here, because only a few minutes separate the 8-sea area from the bird conservation area around the Melle, while you can get to the neighboring Loddin on a well-developed path. Das Haus ist wirklich toll, super sauber und es sieht aus wie auf den Fotos... Allerdings ist Ückeritz wirklich still, also eher nichts los. Wir sind am Wochenende angereist und mussten Pizza von Aldi essen, denn es gibt dort keine Lieferdienste, die Hälfte der Restaurants geschlossen und die geöffneten hatten nicht mehr frei. Uns wurde Sonntags gesagt, frühestens mittwochs wieder. Ein Vorteil vom Ort ist allerdings, dass es ziemlich zentral auf der Insel liegt, sodass man zu allen anderen Orten kürzere Fahrten hat. ##### Daniel J. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist, wie schon oft beschrieben, perfekt. Uns hat die Lage nicht so gefallen.. Es grenzt an ein Gewerbegebiet, wo ab 5 Uhr Autos hin und her rasen. Auch konnten wir die Autos auf der Bundesstraße mehr als erwartet hören. Der Garten war uns nicht groß genug. Die Fussbodenheizung ist fest reguliert, was uns extrem genervt hat. Das Duschbad im EG war daher z.B. für uns nicht nutzbar. Die angepriesene Specksteinheizung im OG ist gesperrt. Einige weitere Punkte in der Beschreibung waren nicht mehr aktuell. Aber die Vermieter haben das wohl jetzt geändert und eine kleine Rückerstattung vorgenommen. Danke ...aber hat in der Sache natürlich nicht wirklich geholfen . Ein absolut funktional und praktisch, sehr stil- und liebevoll sowie modern ausgestattetes Haus, was keine Wünsche offen ließ. Top für Hundebesitzer wie uns... Sogar mit Ösen in der Hauswand an der Terrasse, damit man vorsichtshalber die Hunde anleinen kann. Jedoch haben unsere Vermieter bei unserer Abreise bereits angefangen, einen Zaun zu bauen, was natürlich die Abende draußen noch entspannter macht. Apropos Vermieter: Eine sehr, sehr freundliche Familie Geiger hat uns einen unvergesslichen Urlaub ermöglicht und war absolut kommunikativ und sehr engagiert. Vielen Dank für die schöne Woche in ihrem gemütlichen Haus in Ückeritz an Familie Geiger. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, es ist alles mehr als ausreichend vorhanden. Den Strandkorb haben wir ausgiebig genutzt. Die Lage ist perfekt für Ausflüge mit dem Fahrrad. Wir haben alle Richtungen ausgiebig erkundet. Zu Fuß ist man in 3 Minuten bei Aldi, Edeka und dem Bäcker. Alles in Allem können wir das Haus und einen Urlaub auf der schönen Insel wärmstens empfehlen und kommen sicher wieder. Sonne war uns schon hold und es hat alles gestimmt, vom Buchen über Kontakt zum Vermieter bis hin zum Aufenthalt und Sauberkeit. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichbar, genauso wie Strand und Achterwasser, was man auch teils vom Haus aus sieht. Die Lage ist super und das Haus selbst lässt keine Wünsche offen! Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden was man so braucht. Wirklich liebevoll eingerichtet -wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Ganz zu schweigen von dem Multimedia Angebot! Unsere Tochter war begeistert. Einzig das Boxspring-Bett bekommt von uns einen Abzug - leider etwas zu weich und /oder durchgelegen. Es fehlt einem wirklich an nichts. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und sind angekommen. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön und wir konnten trotz eisiger Temperaturen die langen Strandspaziergänge genießen. Völlig durchgefroren war es eine Freude in dieses schöne Haus zurückzukehren. Jul 16, 2017 #### Sehr schöner Urlaub in einem geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus Wir, vier Erwachsene zwei Kleinkinder und der Hund haben sich sehr wohl gefüllt. Es ist alles im Haus was man zu einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Wenn man nicht zum Strand laufen möchte, in Kleinkindtempo 15 min., fährt vor dem Haus ein Shuttelbus bis zum Strand. Großzügiger, sonniger Wohnbereich mit einer komplett eingerichteten und ausgestatteten Küche, Essbereich und Wohnzimmer gemütlich und großzügig möbliert. Sky ohne Mehrkosten! Bad, Gäste-WC und die Schlafzimmer - einfach alles paletti! Im Garten gab es frische Kräuter, einen Strandkorb und eine gemütliche Sitzgruppe mit ausreichend Sitzplätzen. Hier fanden wir auch einen kleinen Verzehrgutschein vom super-leckeren Gasthaus und eine homemade Marmelade von den Besitzern vor. Alles blitzsauber.
