Very noisy with the wood cutting work nextdoor, but not controllable by the hotel. The shared kitchen is not hygienic, so I did not use it. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Room is adequate, no hot water, so i could not use the shower or bath. Breakfast was ok for additional $2, but i wouldn’t pay for the full price. The rooms and particularly the bathrooms are in need of a refresh, but comfortable, secure, close to Ubud centre. There is a pool and wifi - and I can walk to wherever I want. I was really pleasantly surprised by how nice the small pool area was too. It’s within the city, but right next to a small stream so I felt within the jungle and the sights and sounds of wildlife helped the atmosphere. More pros: 15 minute walk to Ubud City Center (Art Market), felt very safe, and the breakfast options were really good. The cons: bed wasn’t as comfortable as a more expensive hotel, and the bathroom is pretty bare.
