Chalet - .5 mi. from Crabtree Falls, 7 mi. from BR Parkway & 20 min from 151 Jacks Place is our beautiful mountain home, located just 1/2 mile from Crabtree Falls. Relax on the front porch on the bench swing and rocking chairs while enjoying the view of The Priest Mountain and Annies Cabin, an original and beautifully maintained 1798 cabin built by Thomas Jeffersons nephew, Thomas Carr. From the porch you can hear the Tye River Rushing just down the hill, a sound you will enjoy both day and night. This sweet home can sleep up to six individuals in three full beds. There is one full bed located downstairs in the private bedroom, with the other two beds being located upstairs in the loft. All bedding is provided and beds are already made up prior to guest arrival. The bathroom has a large shower-tub combination and beautiful granite vanity. Guest are provided with small toiletries, toilet paper and fluffy, white linens. The living area has a large, comfortable leather couch, sofa rocker, coffee table, reading lamp, TV with a DVD player and board games. A fully stocked kitchen is provided to our guests. Pots, pans, cookware, tableware, utensils and glassware are all provided. Also provided are dish towels, paper towels, sponges, dish-soap, coffee packets, filters and salt and pepper. There is a grill on the porch for grilling out. We do not provide butter, oil, charcoal nor lighter fluid. The kitchen is small but features all necessary appliances for creating a delicious meal! There is a full-size refrigerator, oven, gas stove, microwave, toaster and drip-coffee maker, nothing has been over looked! Jacks has a gas furnace for heating the upstairs, living room and kitchen. The private bedroom and bathroom feature additional floorboard heating.
