Booked the room and when I got to the hotel they wanted a card for the incidentals deposit...no problem...except they would not accept any of the debit or credit cards I had on me. And the deposit was just as much as the room.

I'm not a animal person and then as I was coming in to check in people that was already there was all in the walk way standing and talking and didn't moveout the way, they didn't have to stand in the walk way, staff could have told them to stay clear of the walk way , why would I have to pay for room services when I check in, so I didn't eat while I was there .

Breakfast is too expensive and not all items are covered on the buffet. I stayed here so I could go to the bar but they put a limit on how much you can drink? Really ?

Hello Anita, I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations on your trip to our hotel. These comments about breakfast rates will help us better this service. I hope you give our hotel a second chance and stay with us in the future. Our bar follows the TABC guide when it comes to drink consumption, while we do not have a specific limit we also can not overserve.

Not impressed
I’ve always been impressed with Hilton until now. The beds were the worst I have ever slept on in any hotel. They were very lumpy and so uncomfortable we could not get a good nights sleep. I have stayed here before last year and the beds were not like that. Perhaps if you are not a rewards member you get the worst rooms.

The pillows were flimsy and the bed was not comfortable! I think the mattress needed replacing. But we have always stayed there when we are in town and the bed was fine. This one however was not comfortable at all. The staff was excellent! Especially the waitress was super! She has a sister who works there as well who also was great!!!

UnSafe Intruder over my Bed!!
My recent stay at Hilton Garden Inn Tyler was nothing short of a horrifying experience. On October 15 , a complete stranger entered our hotel room in the middle of the night (3 am), standing over our bed. This situation was extremely distressing, and we had no idea who this person was or what her intentions were.   Despite our immediate pleas for help, the hotel staff's response was shockingly inadequate. The intruder claimed that the hotel had taken her money, but the staff failed to address the situation promptly or effectively. We were left feeling vulnerable, violated, and terrified for our safety.   In addition to the distressing incident itself, the lack of appropriate security measures and the hotel's failure to ensure our safety during this incident were deeply disappointing. The entire experience has shattered our trust in the establishment and left us deeply dissatisfied.   I sincerely hope the management takes this matter seriously, conducts a thorough investigation, and improves security measures to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. I would strongly advise potential guests to exercise caution and consider alternative accommodations until these issues are addressed.

Phantom Restaurant
The Hotel advertised restaurant service is a joke. They do not have a restaurant - they have a buffet style breakfast service for $12.00 per person plus an additional charge of $3.50 for coffee. Other competing Hotels in the area provide this service for free. Also, did not appreciate the $25.00 advanced charge to my credit card for services not provided. The hotel personnel did not inform me they were going to make this charge against my credit card in case I used some of the Hotel services. The $25.00 advanced charge was refunded when I checked out - still this is not acceptable to me.

Hotel is nice and quite. Will stay again next time im in the Tyler area.I would maybe recommend during busy arrival times maybe having more then 1 receptionist on duty the line was pretty long when I arrived. Other than that the stay was perfect and breakfeast was great as well.

Front Desk Looks like they hate their life
I was advised that the staff at the front desk are very rude by my fiancé. After going down and to see for my self, it just look like they all hated their life! Other than that, the place is great! Easy access to everything! I will come back! Just work on smiling a little bit! It’s going to be ok!
