Perfect for entertaining large groups only steps from the beach! Tybee Skies is a 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom property located on the South End of the island. The main living area and kitchen is located on the third floor, while the bedrooms are located on the second. There is an elevator for guest use located inside the home. The grand living area on the third floor provides an ideal setting for gathering with loved ones, featuring two distinct seating areas with a sleeper sofa to sleep additional guests. In the dining area, there is seating for 6\. The fully-equipped kitchen is designed to meet the standards of a professional chef, equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, quartz countertops, and a large kitchen island with seating for 4\. There is a full bathroom located on this level. Additionally, you will find direct access to the wrap-around porch on the top floor via the living area, which is complete with comfortable seating and an outdoor dining table accommodating 4 people. A spiral staircase on the porch leads to the rooftop deck, which is where you can expect to see stunning sunrises and sunsets, with 360-degree views of the island including the Atlantic Ocean, Little Tybee Island, and the Savannah River. All of the comfortable sleeping arrangements can be found on the second level. Bedroom 1 boasts a spacious layout with a king-sized bed, a flat-screen TV, an ensuite bathroom, and direct access to a private balcony. The ensuite bathroom features a beautiful walk-in steam shower, a soaking tub, and dual vanities. The private balcony is adorned with a daybed swing, creating a serene spot to soak in the refreshing beach breeze. Bedroom 2 is thoughtfully furnished with a queen-sized bed, and a flat-screen TV, and even includes a workstation for those who work remotely. Similarly, Bedroom 3 features a queen-sized bed and a flat-screen TV. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a full, hall bathroom, complete with a shower and tub combination. The fourth bedroom, located on the ground floor, includes a queen-size Murphy bed. On the ground level, splash into your private pool for endless fun with family and friends! The lounge seating surrounding the pool is the perfect place to kick back and catch a tan, all while holding a drink made at the pool patio bar! There is a downstairs, open-air bonus room with a large sectional, barstool seating, half bathroom, and charcoal grill area. Additionally, there is an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach. Please note: Pool heater will not be functional in temperatures below 55 degrees. We had a couple things that needed attention during our stay and they were so responsive and quick about getting them fixed. The house itself is beautiful and clean. It was nice being super close to the water, but you could really only see the ocean from the rooftop. The master suite and kitchen areas were especially nice and had obviously been renovated fairly recently. The pool/ bottom floor were a bit disappointing. It really needs to be updated. Most of the furniture outside and corn hole game was falling apart. There wasn't many working lights and the pool light turns off around 10 or 11 PM. I'm glad we didn't have anyone needing to stay in the downstairs bedroom. You have to go through the garage and basically outside to get to it. It's unsafe for younger kids. We loved the rooftop area! Since it was so hot, we mostly enjoyed it at night. The owner was great! I had to contact him about not having many towels, plus one shower and sink didn't work on night 1\. He responded quickly. Unfortunately the shower just didn't get fixed until almost the end of our trip. (A plus for the next people staying.) The swing on the balcony of the master suite is pretty high up, as well as one of the beds in a bedroom. (Hard for kids or shorter people to get on them.)For the price, I expected a little more and for everything to be working. However, we still really enjoyed our time there and would visit again. Our family had a great time staying here and visiting Tybee Island & Savannah, Georgia. The pool at the house was perfect for our boys! We had some of her friends join us and there was plenty of space. The pool was great, the beach was within walking distance and we couldn’t be more pleased. Steps from beach and food. Easily walkable/bikable. The home had a lot of great built in features for fun. The home is aging; some features weren't working during our stay. You may want to double check on the elevator if your party needs it. It didn't interfere with our enjoyment and the owner was very communicative. Nicely designed home with multiple levels. Main floor living is 3rd floor with open floor plan and lots of light. Very comfortable for a group. Bedrooms on 2nd level are comfortable (one bed is quite high off the floor). We didn't get to use the roof deck or pool area very much because of winter weather, but they would be fun for a group in the summer. Location is adjacent to beach boardwalk access; public parking is located on both sides of the property. Not a problem for us; don't know what it would be like when the area is very busy.
