The complex sits on the ocean next to the heart of downtown activities in an area called 'The Strand'. No need to get in your car to eat, shop or participate in activities. The unit location provides walking access to all the fun and experiences that complement a great vacation. This second floor oceanfront unit offers spectacular, direct views and 1600 square feet of living space and high-speed WiFi internet. The fully equipped kitchen includes Corian counter tops and breakfast counter. Fabulous oceanfront master suite with his-and-her sinks and closets and jacuzzi garden tub. Sleeping Room Options and Bathrooms: The master bedroom provides direct ocean views and a king-size bed. The master bath will spoil you with a Jacuzzi garden tub and separate shower, his-and-her closets and vanities. A large second full bathroom offers a combination garden tub/shower. The spacious second bedroom provides a king bed. The third bedroom contains two single beds. The family room also has a queen sleeper-sofa. Both bathrooms are large and have luxurious features. The beach and restaurants were within easy walking distance. There were some issues with the rental that were problematic. First the sliding glass door which was once dual pane had obviously had the inner pane broken. Instead of repairing it, someone had placed blue painter’s tape over the jagged glass still lodged in the frame. The other issue was a mold problem. Every time we entered the premises my family would complain of runny noses, congestion, allergy symptoms. There were some signs of water intrusion, like paint bubbling and ceiling discolorations. It wasn’t until the last day of our stay that my husband opened the upper cupboards over the stove and noted some significant mold issues. I’m happy to provide a photo if this would help in its remediation. ##### Karin C. This house is in a great location..across from the beach and and a block from shops and restaurants. We only needed a car when we left the island. We were there end of July. The only hassle is you dont find out until after you book that you are really renting from a management company. We love the laid back atmosphere of Tybee, close to all the activities of Savannah. VRBO prefers that you deal exclusively with the rental company, so I would strongly suggest you book directly through Tybee Beach Vacation Rentals so that VRBO doesn't need to be bothered.
