Lovingly restored, this spacious 6‑bedroom, 5‑bath home blends vintage character with modern convenience. Clapboard walls, painted floors, and curated vintage décor pair seamlessly with flat‑screen Smart TVs with cable and stainless‑steel appliances—truly the best of both worlds. One of the best features (there are too many to list!) is the beautiful yard and gardens featuring hydrangeas, old oaks, decks, a fire pit, a gazebo, lots of seating and gathering areas AND a private pool! Pool is 288 sq ft (12 x 24). The outdoor space of this beautiful home is a true oasis and is truly amazing!
Another awesome feature of this home is that it is pet-friendly; something we know many of our Mermaid guests will appreciate! A perfect home for large family gatherings, multi-family vacations, and girlfriend getaways! Bring the kids! Bring the parents! Bring the pets! Here’s a few of the numerous details that make this home a true gem! Master King Suite on top floor with walk in shower and separate Jacuzzi plus its own private porch. Also located on the top floor is the 2nd, 3rd and 4th bedrooms. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed with private full bath (tub/shower combo), Bedroom #3 has a full bed and a twin bed with a full bath (tub/shower combo) and Bedroom #4 has a king bed with a shared bath.
Middle Level features a living area with 70-inch flat screen TV, dining area, kitchen and a porch off of the living area. Also a rear deck off of the kitchen/dining area features a table with seating for 4. There is also a front porch with seating for 2. The 5th and 6th bedrooms are also located on this level with the 5th bedroom featuring a queen bed with a shared full bath (tub/shower combo). 6th bedroom features a queen bed with a private full bath (tub/shower combo).
At the ground level, you will access the garden, private pool (NOTE: POOL IS HEATED) with seating for 10 or more plus a covered gazebo, fire pit, charcoal grill. There is a bath house at the pool area that includes a shower and full bath so guests do not have to access main house for bath accommodations. The main garden features multiple seating areas and umbrellas.

The best house!

This house was perfect for our weekend girls trip! The corner lot was quiet and cozy. There was plenty of room for everyone and perfect location. We were able to walk to downtown for dinners and the beach was so close and easily accessible! The property manager was very sweet and just a text away! 15/10 will stay again

Best time ever!

The house was fantastic with more than enough place for our party of 10 as well as very conveniently located. The kitchen was well stacked with all tools required for a great Thanksgiving dinner. Not to mention Tybee is a charming island that deserves to be discovered. Finally, thank you to the Mermaids who helped make our stay memorable!

It has a great outdoor area with a pool and firepit where we spent most of our time. Numerous porches were very cool also. This house is in a great location you can easily walk to the shops, beach, or restaurants. You can see the sunrise on the beach or the sunset on the inlet, it was perfect!

The fenced in yard with pool was beautiful, two screen porches to use during the day of rain and a large, kitchen/dining area to cook and eat in was perfect. We walked to the beach everyday and also enjoyed several sunsets at another walkable beach. All in all I have NO cons to say about this rental except not a fan of charcoal grilling. We plan on returning in the future.

A house filled with character

Between the beautifully landscaped back yard, all the porches and multiple bedrooms, this spacious house gave 11 people (from four families) all the room needed to find their own space, when needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Girls Getaway

We had a great time and really enjoyed the home. We loved the common area and the outdoor area, we were able to build a fire of our nights. There were 12 of us and we had plenty of space to be comfortable. I would def come back for another stay.

Outdoor / pool area was amazing. It is an older home with master bathroom updated beautifully. We spent most evenings on the main floor, screened, porch. Short walk to many shops, restaurants, and beach. We would definitely stay here again.
