One of our many Tybee Island rentals, South Beach Retreat is only steps away from the South End beach. With accommodations for four guests, it fits a Tybee Beach vacation for a family or a small gathering of friends. The house has two bedrooms, two baths, a front balcony, washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, all linens and space to park two cars.

Walk into the Tybee Island rentals South Beach Retreat and experience the light and bright living and dining room, framed by the white-themed kitchen. The living room has plenty of seating for four, a ceiling fan above to keep things cool and a flat-screen TV for catching up on your favorite shows. The dining room has a table for four, but four bar stools and a kitchen bar are perfect for more entertaining. The kitchen has all the requisite appliances, including a coffee pot, plenty of counter space and a double sink. The bedrooms are roomy and designed in a relaxing shade of green. Both bedrooms look out over a front balcony area and have ceiling fans. The front balcony stretches to in front of the living room as well and a patio table provides outdoor chill-out time.

What to do on your Tybee Beach vacation.

There's plenty to do near Tybee Beach rentals and best of all, most of it is within walking distance. Tybee Beach condos are ideally located on the 2.7 square mile expanse of Tybee Island. Visit the Tybee Beach lighthouse and museum or Fort Pulaski for some Civil War history. Of course, the beach and plenty of water activities are just steps away from all Tybee Beach condos.

Southern Belle Pool
In addition to the on site pool at this property, our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located on Tybee Island. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island. The Pool is open during the below dates and times.
March 1- Oct 31, Open 7 days a week from 10am-5pm
*Pool will be closed for maintenance March 7, 2022 through March 11, 2022*
November 1 - February 28, Open Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm
Additional Pool Hours available during the off-season are listed below. If these dates fall in the middle of the week, the pool will be open as listed below and every Friday and Saturday.

Good option, depending on what you are looking for

Communication and check in/out was crazy easy. This is in a residential area but that was fine with us, still very close to everything. The building was clean and modern other than a couple of ants but nothing alarming. My only real complaint was that the online description listed a pool on site and a share pool with their other properties. There was only a shared pool. From this property it was just a couple blocks away but I was expecting an onsite option.

Amazing winter space

The property location is amazing, walk to ocean CLOSE, food, exercise, shopping, everything you need. Arrived for a 31-night stay. GREAT rate in January. Parking was fine for our one small Honda Civic. Keypad entry-style dated. Even notes to us to close it assumes you might have a problem, so they should just change the method. Got a call the 2nd day we arrived from host manager. One thing VRBO is supposed to be owner manager as advertising suggests with "Coach" commercial. No. Said they were coming Thursday to paint for HOA.They came every single day and remodeled the exterior of the entire place. I called and asked when done and texts with total no answer. No idea what the HOA is doing she said. They some days blocked our car in and we were the ONLY car in the lot with their materials. Very nice guys working but come on. Peered in the windows, worked or cleaned up into the evening. I have 14 recordings if very loud noice on all different days and nights and photos.. The only days they did not show up in front of our window was when for the 1st time there was snow!! We were stuck again. I did not alwaya feel safe or comfortable. Changed ceilinga fans w another crew. It just never ended. We should have been able to receive a discount or the owners' information to get more information and we could have switched our lodging.No indication online off remodeling.

Place was bigger than it looked online which was cool. Kinda shabby, though, could use basic deep clean and paint. Watch going into the unit, it’s a higher than average size step up. Parking is horribly tight. Dishwasher leans a bit and may need straightening to close it. Very close to beach.

We went In September and the weather was perfect. The island was not crowded at all. We didn't have to pay to park anywhere and were able to walk everywhere. We highly recommended Pier 16 - the restaurant closest to the condo. Delicious!

Great location on the south end of the island. Close enough to walk to shops, restaurants, the beach and pier. The floors were not vacuumed or mopped. Sand on the sofas. A macaroni in the sink drain. Oooops

Cozy stay

Pretty condo, very clean and neat. Check in was easy, communication was great. Basic amenities were included including shampoo and soap. As others have pointed out, parking is tight, but we didn't have any trouble. Honestly, most places on Tybee have tight parking so we didn't feel this was a negative. We would definitely stay here again.

This little condo was just what we needed for our little stay at Tybee. Only issue we encountered was parking. It’s very tight and hard to pull out of the designated parking spot. We were warned Overall though it was clean and roomy.

Very nice vacation rental.

My sister and I had a wonderful week in this rental. The condo was roomy and had the basic supplies. We would have preferred a keypad or two sets of keys, as sometimes we would go out at different times. This condo is in a perfect location. It’s just a few blocks from the ocean, the pool, shopping, and many restaurants. The only time we had to get my car was to go to the north end of the island. Everything else was easy walking distance. We were able to watch the sunrise over the ocean and the sunset over the back river. Although we don’t know if we will ever return to Tybee, my sister and I said we are not hesitate to rent the same way place again.

Fun place

We had a great time in this condo. It was spacious and comfortable. Great location and access to beach. The kitchen could use some attention in terms of supplies like a good sharp knife, tongs, more silverware (only 4 knives) . We had to buy a can opener. A few more t towels. We “made do” tho so no big deal. We tend to cook more than most people I guess.

Good - but add missing items

Enjoyed the condo great location but you folks should provide the missing needed items that were listed and which were not in the condo for the next renters - so this is fyi to put in condo: Can opener - couldn’t open our canned food. Clean Bath towels (none and a dirty basket of laundry (the towels) was in a laundry basket near the washer with no detergent provided - so no shower until we went to supermarket the next day. Also don’t want to wash other people towels. So there is a double set in that condo now since housekeeping later brought us towels. We washed them all and folded on table and in the hall bathroom closet. Shampoo in each bathroom wasn’t there There was no outside garbage receptacle at this location. Problematic. There was no recycle receptacles either at this location. We had to drive our refuse out to the town locations. All other apartments seem to have a garbage receptacle outside - strange and inconvenient not to have one for the rented condo. Kitchen towel not there Kitchen sponge not there Paper towel roll not there Kitchen potholders not there (need for cooking/oven. We are telling you so you can get these items into the condo for next people. These items are really needed. Loved this place - loved tvs and ac (we set at 73 when we left) laundry was all great - everything worked perfectly (lock broke and help came right away - so great) loved everything. Thank you.
