Fully updated Upper level 1Br/1Ba in a Vintage 1930s Building! New kitchen, comfortable king-sized bed & spacious bathroom! This property is a 1/2 block from the beach. The balcony looks towards the ocean, a 5-min stroll to the Tybee Pier, or grab a Breezy to the Tybee Lighthouse on North End. Calming beach colors, sound of the ocean plus access for streaming your Netflix & Hulu accounts! ONE FREE PARKING PASS FOR YOUR STAY! Worth $48/day! If Pass is accidentally taken home or not returned will be billed ($500) to the guest, and a police report will be filed, no exceptions- please be considerate and thoughtful to the next guests! These passes are not disposable and very hard to come by. Regardless of where you end up booking on Tybee, before booking please look up local events/parades, road work, possible future storms, weather and tides. Traffic can be backed up due to major events or an accident on the island, or changes in weather like rain lead to a lot of people leaving the beach all at once, so it's a good idea to plan ahead and know what's going on! If you decide to go into Savannah for the day, plan ahead for your return at night. It is fully recommended to do this research in advance and to monitor radar on your stay. Tybee is a super fun place and our Island loves to have a good time. We often have fireworks for major holidays also which are well attended. During a Full Moon, especially on a Super Moon, a high tide or even a King Tide can happen which is when the tides are even higher than normal. While very rare, it is possible, water can also cross over the main road US Hwy 80 coming onto and leaving the Island so please plan ahead for that. The city and county may close roads temporarily as it isn't safe to drive through water so you may need to plan accordingly to arrive early or later to the Island. All pets must be preapproved before booking. We do not allow cats/other animals. \*Dogs are WELCOME! However, you must indicate the size, breed, and age in your booking ahead of time, so please do not instantly book if you intend to bring a dog (Pitbull or Bully Breeds, Cane Corso, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Dobermann or Any other aggressive breed are not allowed). A pet fee of $100 will be required per pet (2 pets max) and must be paid prior to check-in. Please note that on the 7th day of your booking, you have the option to pay for a second cleaning to have fresh linens on the bed and new towels. Was in the area for work and booked property on short notice. Turned out to be Pirate Fest weekend, which made for a busy yet enjoyable time. We very much enjoyed the porch. Weather was nice and almost chilly which made for a nice relaxing and reading spot. Property is well maintained and had an enjoyable trip. Short 2 minute or so easy walk to beach. Restaurants easy walking distance from property. We stayed 5 nights and only observation regarding the unit was would have been nice to have a more comfortable chair or two for indoor relaxing but realize that space is tight. There is a really nice sitting area around the side of the building with a grill where we were able to mingle with the other guests. It looked just like the pictures, and the bed was so comfortable! My partner and I have never slept so well in a new bed. The water is visible from the balcony, and about two blocks walk. So convenient! We drove into Savannah each day to eat, as we did not find any of the local restaurants to be great. But it is an easy and convenient drive to the city with beautiful views. The location is ideal, just a half block from the beach with lots of street parking. Close to a few great restaurants and a coffee shop just around the corner. The room was a good size for two people. The bathroom & kitchen were clean with good water pressure! We really enjoyed the balcony on our room. Very worn. It certainly showed better in the photos on line. The front door wasn’t working properly and was extremely hard to close. No one took the time to try and lock it.
