It's very simple, rustic, and peaceful, Set in the San Bernardino National Forest, the cabin has a cute little bedroom, a living room and a small kitchenette that has the simple basics. It has a small porch in front. When you're there, you feel pretty off the grid. yet you're only minutes from restaurants and groceries. The Perch is on 4.5 acres of woods, a large open field, a few other cabins and a barn. The cabin sits in a rustic, natural environment and will give you the sense that you're tucked away from the busy world and back to a simple life. Your cabin is near to hiking trails, various seasonal activities, and magnificent views. Expect to hear lots of birds and maybe even see some wildlife. Cabin 10 is only a few minutes away from Lake Gregory and Lake Arrowhead where you can find shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. The barn on our property is for the shared use of our guests. At the barn, you'll find games, an indoor and outdoor fireplace, BBQs and outdoor furniture. By the way, it's great as a meeting place for groups, too! If you feel like it, you can take a yoga class there at Sundown on Saturdays, or arrange for a mobile massage in your cabin or a hike with an expert on the birds and wildlife of the area. This historic cabin is nestled on a peaceful, secluded 4.5 acre property that was one of the first lodgings in the area. Nothing else on the mountain compares to the tranquil simplicity here and many guest remark on the magical beauty of the property. Wake up to the birds singing in the morning and the relax to the owls hooting by night. We are visited by deer and coyotes and the occasional bear and bobcat. There are many wonderful hiking & off-road trails ranging from easy to difficult nearby and we are just 10 min from one of the best paragliding sites in the world. There is a property manager ready to assist you if you need anything, but other than that you're on your own. Although we are set in the San Bernardino National Forest, our area is designated as residential. As such, we require no noise after10 PM. Thanks! If you want to bring a pet, there's an additional pet fee and we ask that you ensure the pet does not go on the beds or furniture. If your cabin has a fireplace, please note that these are gas fireplaces, and are not to be used for wood! When it's snowy or icy, you'll need a 4WD vehicle, or snow chains (maybe both).
