I take a yearly trip to the Twin Lakes Inn the first week in October. It is a great place to get away and relax, hike, experience the outdoors and friendly people there. Staff is always quite helpful. If you want to experience a modernized historical property this is a good place. No TV, which was fine because we were there to hike, not sit in the room. It was odd that absolutely no staff seemed to be on the property Wednesday night through Thursday morning which was a little disconcerting. Also there was no dead bolt for the door. But it was clean and spacious. Great little gem to have a nice get away. Not far from trails, water and other small towns. No TV or radios in the room, great way to disconnect. You can always go downstairs and just talk and watch. Really thoughtful on the morning continental breakfast.
