All you'd expect from a budget friendly hotel. Nice pool and spa, and clean. Bed was comfy and AC worked well, albeit a bit noisy.

Very run down and unclean. We had a two night stay and canceled the second night and got a hotel down the street. Used to be such a great property. It really has been let go! They said it will be closing August 10th, so thinking the staff that is left are just not putting much effort into keeping the place up. Hopefully new owners and a major renovation will bring this hotel back to the Yucca Valley charm it once had.

The "non-smoking" room I received was clearly a smoking room before and had a lingering smell of smoke and musk. This property is really run down and old. Could use a refurbishing.

We'd Probably not stay here again. The place is just adequate. Not too clean, not too comfortable. Ok for a single person overnight while passing through. but that's about it. Staff was not overly friendly. you get what you pay for here. No Breakfast because of Covid.

Check in staff was overwhelmed with people. A lot of the facilities were closed. No breakfast available even though it was listed in the website. Room was dingy and dirty with a smoke smell even though the room was non smoking. Fridge was disgusting with mold and sheets were dirty. A/C did not work from the start and staff was unable to help for three hours. Had to find another hotel and leave because the room was extremely hot and since staff was overwhelmed, they could not do anything to help. We left and never came back.

Went to check in at 3:00pm on a Saturday and had to wait outside with a mask on and we had to check in through a night window with a clerk who was not helpful at all. There was a sign posted on the window that said there was no breakfast and limited housekeeping services.

The shower didnt drain. The shower curtain was moldy. The bedroom wall and bathroom door were poorly patched up. No fitted sheet and the sheets were rough. But the thing that sent us running for a new hotel at 10pm was finding a cockroach crawling on my bed!

The property is as expected for the price. Bed was clean and comfortable. The advertised free internet service was not sustainable. There were numerous lines but connections lasted for a minute at best. Hotel check-in and out is conducted outdoors via a window, so not the most hospitable.

Stop do not book. I wish I had seen this review.
I couldn’t give a worse review of this establishment. From the attempt to check in to them not allowing my elderly father in a wheelchair to use a restroom after waiting an hour for the room to be prepared. We asked that they cancel our reservation and we went to another hotel. The other hotel was night and day better great attitude friendly cleaner.

I have never been treated more disrespectfully. When I asked for a room that didn't smell bad (because my room smelled strongly of smoke and unclean), I was told that I WAS WRONG and that I needed to apologize and accommodate the hotel. I had 10 rooms filled with coworkers for a production in Joshua tree and multiple people had the same type of interaction. I can not believe that a hotel would be so incredible rude and treat its guests so badly. Worst experience and I will never support this hotel again.

First they gave us an uncleaned occupied room, after correcting the situation the room was absolutely gross. I have never been in such a crazy dirty room. One of the worst places we have stayed
The costumer service was some the worst we have ever experienced. The man that was checking us in was very rude and even at one point, unfounded, offered to refund us all our money and not check in. (Webpage says dogs ok, paper on window says no we just asked to clarify). We had mentioned during our check in process that we would be using the pull out couch. Never once did they mention that there were no extra sheets or blankets in the room, so at 11pm we had to call and go get them ourselves, and we’re told that we could only have the 4 pillows that were in the room. It honestly felt like we were bothering them. The room was gross. We found stale Cheerios and raisins on the floor, hair in the drain, and numerous stains on the carpet. It’s an old building and it looks that way too. Many of the outlets were not secured to the walls properly and not working. For the price we paid, it is way over priced and they didn’t make us feel welcomed or care.

Our stay was good, the kids were comfortable. Pros: The beds were comfy and clean. Front desk was helpful. Staff was helpful. Easy check-in. The room was spacious. Nice vanity. Cons: Room was dated. Big facility, but needs an upgrade. Lobby was closed.

This place was beyond disgusting. The room had dust hanging off the curtains, ceiling fan and lamps. There were rubber bands strewn all over the dirty, stained, moldy floor. There was hair stuck to the ceiling of the shower and someone had plugged up the holes in the wall with toilet paper. I cannot believe that this place is still in operation. I really can’t believe that Expedia has it listed on its site. I can’t believe that the name Travelodge is on this place. Horrible, disgusting place. Never again. Spend the extra money to stay at a nice, reputable place.
