Only one complaint, great overall
Turks is a beautiful island. I grew up on the Cape and have been to 4 islands in the Caribbean, Hawaii, Moorea, and Bora Bora and Grace Beach has by far the softest and cleanest (no seaweed or rocks to be seen) sand I have ever seen. The resort itself is also pristine. The staff are very friendly and provide the type of high-end service you would expect for staying at a top-tier resort. The Deck (the "on the water" restaurant) has a great atmosphere and should be visited at least once while staying there.
The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 stars for the review is that I went in January and we had 2 days of 30+ mph winds. You go to Turks for the water/sun in January or any time for that matter, and while the weather is NOT the resort's problem, they should have turned on the heat in the pool and heated it to at least 80 degrees, ideally 85 in that weather, in order to give the guests something somewhat comfortable to do. The pool was 70-75 degrees tops, which in that wind, isn't helpful - in short, it was very cold. No one was using the pool for the entire week for more than 5 minutes due to how cold the water was. When you are paying $800 per night, the ocean should not be noticeably warmer than the pool and the pool should be heated so that its comfortable and guests shouldn't have to ask.
